The 33-year-old lady then posted a TikTok, commenting on the fact that she was called “mother” by some people.
According to Merriam-Webster’s definition, “mother” is defined as “black women, especially those who worked as nurses for white children in the southern United States”
Lizzo uploaded a TikTok duet with fans, his username is Pablothedon, and he talked about people accusing the rapper of showing his mother’s behavior.
“That’s why I started this song with the reason that’they don’t know I did this for culture’.” “These people who say this may be those who have hypersexuality in me and my mother’s metaphor is actually desexual. People who are angry at the time. So it can’t be both true. Make it make sense,” Lizzo said.
“I think people are just crazy to see a fat black woman and make pop music happy. You are very depressed and I am happy. Another added: “It’s time to admit the real reason you see Lizzo as a’mother’. Because she is dark and fat. You only want to represent thin black bodies because you think fat black women belong to mothers. bc ding ding ding…you have obesity.”
At the same time, Lizzo’s collaborators Cardi B also expressed his solidarity with the singer, Tweeted: “This song is in the top 10 on all platforms. Physically humiliating and calling her mom is despicable and racist, fuck.”
