With “just cause” laws, unions continue to legislate outdated – RedState


“Why buy cows when you can get milk for free?”

On July 4, 2021, New York City’s “Defense Law” took effect for fast food operators and their employees.

Although many employers may worry that these types of laws will spread to other cities or states, this is not necessarily a bad thing.

In this episode of Union Free Radio, the host Peter List uncovered the history of “arbitrary employment”, the mystery of “legitimate discipline” and “progressive discipline”, and explained that New York City’s new laws may actually bring about Come hurt, not help, today’s union.

“Once the state or’big brother’ compulsory payment of wages and’fair treatment’,” Lister asked, “how many workers will voluntarily donate part of their salary to advocacy groups or unions?”
