There are so many incredible farm stands in Vermont, many of which have been around for generations. This is an essential activity if you find yourself in the Green Mountain State, and there are plenty of options. I’m sharing some of our favorite farm stands in Vermont, what to expect while you’re there, and when’s the best place to go. Most of these farm stands are open from May to December, so be sure to check their hours and website for more information.

Darden Farm Stand
Dutton Farms Stand at Manchester Center, Vermont Everything from artisanal olive oil and balsamic vinegar (obviously the best ever) to maple cream made year-round with their own homemade maple syrup, fudge, pies, cheese and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Open daily from 8am to 6pm, Dean Brigant’s Farm Stand In Colchester, Vermont, it’s the best place to go for the freshest, tastiest fruits and vegetables. Buy and cut your own flowers and pick your own berries or buy freshly picked berries. Open daily from 8am to 6pm.
Organic Farm Stand and Maple Sugar House in Hartshorn
Organic Farm Stand and Maple Sugar House in Hartshorn is a VOF certified organic Vermont family owned and operated farm that produces and sells fresh, tasty and healthy vegetables, fruits and flowers. Located in Waitsfield, Vermont, serving homemade maple syrup, farm-fresh eggs, the best apple pies, squash and gourds. Hartshorn’s also offers CSA programs, 4 community food festivals, food and farm tours, farm immersion programs and special events.
Harlow Farm Stand
Harlow Farm Stand In Westminster, Vermont, a variety of farm-fresh merchandise is available, including farm-raised meats, dairy products, vegetables, gourmet corn, salsas, plants, and jams. They also offer unique products such as crafts and stained glass. Also, they have a lovely cafe called Cafe Loco which is a favorite of locals and frequent travelers. Cafe Loco is open daily from 7am to 3pm and Sunday from 8am to 3pm. Harlow Farm Stand is open daily from 9am to 6pm.

If you’re in the Springfield area, be sure to check out this family owned farm. The Blais Produce Farm Stand is open daily from 10am to 6pm.

They’re made by local Vermont farmers, and according to Jess, they’re the best dill pickles she’s ever eaten! Open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-5pm.
