I don’t know if there is anything more enjoyable than reading (including reading book reviews). It’s like you spend an hour watching a trailer and then go to bed without ever seeing the movie. It was so much fun to see the potential of each story and get a taste of the characters and plotlines. With summer in full swing and all the sand, sun and sea breath ahead, what better time to pick up some good beach reading? Whether you like steamy romance, juicy drama, humorous lightness or suspenseful mystery, I’ve picked something for everyone. So I have to admit, I was a little embarrassed when I found out authenticity is a young adult book… i just finished it in 24 hours and raved about it all my friends. But, I’ll guarantee that young man or not, authenticity Incredibly steamy, suspenseful and perfect for page-turning beach reading. If you like murder mysteries, romance, and twists, Verity is just what you need for your next vacation reading! Verity Crawford, a well-known writer who was injured and unable to finish her book series, her husband Jeremy hired a writer Lowen to accompany them while completing the series for his wife. A budding romance begins between Jeremy and Lowen, Lowen begins to suspect something is wrong with Verity, and things quickly get weird. This is a fun quick read and you’ll fly by!

This is my first read and my favorite Taylor Jenkins Reid read. Reed’s point of view writing style is my favorite, switching between different character perspectives to keep you focused and alert. Evelyn Hugo’s seven husbands, tells the story of fictional Hollywood star Evelyn Hugo through an interview with journalist Monique Grant. The reader’s experience presents Hugo’s life through Glantz’s perspective and Hugo’s own flashbacks. As Evelyn’s story unfolds and becomes intertwined with those around her, this historical fiction story is both romantic and suspenseful with “twists and turns.”

With North Carolina as the background, where crayfish sing, tells the story of a girl who grows up in the deep swamps of the South after a turbulent childhood. She grows up and falls in love, twice, but things go wrong and she has to save herself again. The film is actually set to hit theaters this summer, produced by Reese Witherspoon and starring Daisy Edgar Jones (ordinary people) is a perfect match for Kya. I can not wait anymore!

French shares her struggles with a young mother, addiction and abuse, and how her dreams of providing love and loneliness through food helped her overcome it all.
On my wish list this summer
this time tomorrow by Emma Straub
Read the introduction to the book this time tomorrow It has softened my heart, and tears are overflowing a little. It tells the story of Alice, who, on the eve of her 40th birthday, feels her life is going well despite her father’s deteriorating condition. Waking up the next morning, she went back to when she was 16 and re-examined her relationship with her father and the choices she made with new eyes. Described as “bitter,” “pleasant,” and “extraordinary,” this will make for a lovely beach read for those who want to laugh, cry and everything in between.
