Then it is said that he suddenly stabbed her in the neck several times with a knife. He also attacked a 66-year-old passerby who was eager to help with a knife, and severely injured him.
The suspect was arrested at the scene. According to the police, the Afghan man is suspected of suffering from a mental illness.
The Office of the Public Prosecutor and the National Criminal Police Office are now also investigating attacks that may have been motivated by Islamism. The 29-year-old man will be brought before the judge on Sunday.
