A generationA black Citroen DS from the 1960s is driving in town. It is obviously used in daily life and is obviously well maintained or repaired. This car is ahead, and neighbors once owned one. It’s fun for our children to sit on the sofa and float on the potholes. The neighbors lift the car step by step with a clever hydro-pneumatic device, and teach the children that it can also be driven on three wheels if needed. Have a lot of fun . In the 1970s, my father owned three Citroen GS consecutively. The school councillors can also afford it. Not only do they have a combined air and petrol suspension and a single-spoke steering wheel like the DS, but also a magnifying glass like a bathroom scale, no idling brake pedal and an incredibly streamlined shape.
This and more are unusual, most of which are practical. Even today, Citroen is trying to stand out from the crowd. It was not easy when the parent company put the car on a universal platform, and in compact models, it now offers the same affordable C 4 instead of the interesting cactus. We also look for unusual things in it, and find the most impractical elements. Because the stupid rear spoiler looks like it fits harmoniously with the smooth lines from the outside, but from the driver’s point of view, it is almost a thick beam that passes through the rear window.
