Review – Good posture is very important when working in front of the computer for a long time. Raising your computer monitor to an appropriate height can greatly improve neck and back pain, which may occur when you are sitting incorrectly. Of course, you can use a bunch of phone books or phone books, but what you really need is something designed for this purpose. This is where the FluidStance Raise 36+ display stand comes in.
What is it?
Raise 36+ is a monitor stand and portable battery combination that can bring you many benefits while working. First, it helps to raise your computer monitor, all-in-one or laptop to a better height to help you maintain your posture and provide a more convenient viewing angle. Secondly, when you need to deal with something on the desktop, it provides you with a place to put your keyboard and mouse. Third, it is equipped with an 8,000 mAh, Qi-enabled portable battery pack that can help your device stay charged and ready to use.

Design and features
The display shelf is a well-designed wooden shelf, with dark walnut veneer or light natural finish, made of 13 layers of veneer plywood, supported by two steel legs. There are silicone rubber feet on the bottom of the legs to help prevent the shelf from sliding on your desk. There are felt-lined cavities at both ends of the shelf to store the included batteries, pens and pencils, or other small items that you may have around your desk.
The monitor shelf is deep enough to hold any monitor you encounter. I have been using my laptop on the stand, it’s only a little bit on the front and back, but the rubber feet on my laptop are completely on the shelf, so it doesn’t slide around or at interesting angles or anything Sitting. I don’t think it will go anywhere, but if you plan to use it in this way, it needs attention. Due to the width of the shelf, I can easily place the laptop and iPad Pro side by side. This is convenient if I need to use the iPad as a reference, or if I want to plug it into my laptop for use as a second monitor. It is very good to have them at the same level. This is where I want to go deeper-the iPad case has a built-in stand, which is great, but it must be a few inches forward from my laptop screen, so it’s a bit awkward. This is not the fault of this bracket, but if it is deeper, I can move them closer to each other.

The battery charger is small and stylish. If you need to carry it with you, you can easily put it in your pocket or put it in a cavity on the shelf to ensure that you always keep it handy when you need to charge. There are 4 batteries USB port-MicroUSB and USB-C inputs are used to charge the battery pack, and two USB-A outputs are used to charge other devices. In addition, the top of the battery pack is the Qi charging pad, which can charge iPhones, Android phones, Bluetooth headsets or any other Qi-enabled devices.
I do have some questions about these projects-no big deal, but I want to point them out here. First of all, when I took it out of the box, the stand was a bit wobbly. The wood looks flat, so I don’t think it warps at all. The steel legs bend slightly. This can cause the stand to wobble. I was able to bend my legs and try to get them to sit on the table correctly. I am close, but I think I need to go further. It is difficult to tell whether this is a design defect or warpage during transportation. The shipping box is not damaged at all, so it doesn’t look like a shipping problem, but it’s hard to tell.

My second question is the charger. It includes a USB-C port, which can be used as an input and output on many products, and usually allows you to charge batteries or other devices faster than using MicroUSB input or USB-A output. In this case, the USB-C connector is only an input, and its rated voltage is up to 5V/2A, which is exactly the same as the MicroUSB input, and does not support PD or any other faster charging standards.
The third problem is also related to the battery. Very convenient Qi charging board, which only supports up to 5W charging, which is the slowest Qi charging rate. The Qi standard supports up to 15W or even higher, depending on the charger. Even 10W is not bad. Nevertheless, it is nice to have another Qi-enabled charger on my desk, and it will be useful when I need it. I just need to remember that when I use it, it takes longer to charge.

Installation and setup
There is nothing to do. Take the product out of the box and put it on the desktop, then put your monitor or computer on the shelf to enjoy the improved viewing angle. The battery should be charged first. This may take several hours, depending on the battery’s start-up level and the power capacity of the charger you are using.
what do I like
I like to leave my laptop and iPad off my desktop. The viewing angle is much better, I don’t think I have been looking down hard. In addition to improving the viewing angle and reducing neck pain, I also have more desks to use. I can slide the keyboard and mouse under the shelf at any time, and I have desk space to write or do any other tasks that do not require a keyboard and mouse.

I also like to have another battery charger, especially one that can be placed in a slot on the table, so it is always nearby. With so many devices in my life, I need to constantly charge, and it’s great to always have a convenient power supply.
What will i change
It would be nice if the shelf was deeper. It would be convenient to have space to keep my laptop and iPad screen at the same distance. In addition, it is best not to let the shelf swing like it does. I’m pretty sure I can adjust it a bit and keep it flat, but I would rather not have to do this. Finally, I want to see how to solve the battery problem. I do feel that it is just a nice add-on on the shelf, so I don’t want to complain too much, but solving these problems will make it more valuable.

Final thoughts
Overall, this has been a great addition to my desk for a week or so, so I have been using it. The convenience of lifting my computer and iPad, the extra storage space it provides below, and another battery pack that is always available when I need it, have made my life easier.
