Changing the curriculum to instill Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other anti-American ideas in our children, it is time to strengthen and lead our school’s accusations against CRT. We know that if South Lake (Carroll ISD), one of the top public school districts in Texas, fully adopts CRT, other school districts will soon follow suit. However, due to the great efforts of the grassroots, the CRT in Nanhu was repelled…for now.
Although this is a great victory for the patriotic Americans in this small corner of Tarrant County, Texas, this article is not meant to retell the legend to save South Lake School and students from the CRT. You can read more about it in this excellent article in the National Review. Instead, I want to explain why I opposed CRT in the first place, and elaborate on the stakes. In short, every American who fears God and loves freedom has a responsibility to boycott CRT at all levels of government (from the White House to school buildings). The heritage and survival of our country are at stake.
Intellectuals and academic elites like to use big words and long sentences to describe CRT. Textbooks usually define CRT as “CRT is a theory that race is a socially constructed concept, and racial prejudice and oppression are perpetuated by individuals and social institutions.” It sounds harmless at first until you start to understand the details. On the one hand, CRT is based on Marxist class conflict thinking.Instead of the frame
History is “rich and poor”, it is “white versus non-white”. This means that CRT uses ethnic conflict to explain today’s society, but can only understand society from the perspective of race. In this sense, CRT has more in common with the segregationists of the past, insisting that race and race itself determine a person’s position in the world, and a person’s race represents the sum of their abilities.
The CRT insists that every institution in the United States—from the Constitution to the local banks—is designed to benefit white people rather than minorities. In addition, the CRT teaches that through the power of “white privilege”, white people will always be ahead of those who are considered minorities, and minorities will never be able to reach their full potential or even get a fair shake, because the entire society is Structured against them. In essence, what CRT preach is a person’s skin color, not character or professional ethics, which will determine a person’s life path. This revisionist, divisive and soul-destroying theory can hardly be the secret of prosperity we need to restore this country and bridge the deep differences that exist.
At the same time, the CRT in the classroom aims to convince a whole generation of people that the United States has been evil since the founding of the nation, and that it has always been evil.
