Biden defends his illegal order and digs deeper-Red State

Usually, the president will not categorically acknowledge them Push illegal orders (As the Supreme Court has already pointed out, even Justice Kavanaugh Leave the door open) In order to abuse the court system and get what they want before there is time to stop them. However, here we are, Joe Biden did just that.

When asked yesterday whether his order complies with the constitution, his answer simply digs the question deeper.

If you want, go on a trip with me. This year is 2020, and President Trump has just again ordered the termination of the DACA program in exactly the same way, even after the Supreme Court ruled that he cannot do so. He then ordered the immediate expulsion of all so-called dreamers in the country. When asked whether such an order is constitutional and ignores the court, Trump replied: “Those fools of the Supreme Court need time to stop me. At the same time, we want to deport them all.”

This is exactly what Biden is doing here. He knew he was told that his actions were illegal, but he still did it to make it clear that he wanted to disrupt the court system and still get what he wanted. If this is not a constitutional crisis—a favorite sentence of the Trump era—I’m not sure what it is. What Biden said is the way a dictator speaks. This is an abuse of the system, even further than what Barack Obama did.

The real question is what would anyone do? We certainly cannot count on establishing Republican support to oppose this. In most cases, they have remained silent (however, Mitch McConnell finally made a comment yesterday). I suspect that the mild response of many Republican members is to protect their precious infrastructure deals, and when you think about it, it’s just a crazy idea.

That really only left the court.one challenge Has been submitted. It is hoped that the local court will suspend the enforcement of the injunction so that it will not harm more owners while further litigation.

Even so, more work must be done. The Supreme Court cannot act beyond its own power, but it should use every tool in the toolbox to ensure that this situation does not happen again. Someone told me that courts usually dismiss the abuse of procedures, and there needs to be real consequences, so that everything can really have an impact. The various sanctions, the harsh language in the decision, set a real precedent, possible compensation orders, and anything else on the table. Break the glass and press the button. This is not the time for John Roberts to “protect the institution” through some extremely narrow rulings.

If Biden admits that he blatantly abused the court system to do something illegal and the court ruled that the issue is meaningless, then this situation will happen again. This is not good for the rule of law or the country as a whole.
