Review – A woman will spontaneously ignite one day in her life for 3-5 minutes, several times a day. I can attest that it is not pleasant, and I really hope it involves burning a lot of calories, although I don’t think it will. This situation has no obvious benefits, except that it makes me the perfect candidate to try Torras Coolify wearable air conditioners.

What is it?

Torras Coolify is a fan with cooling elements that can be placed on your shoulders and neck to cool you down when you need it.

feature

Coolify wearable air conditioners are basically fans that you wear around your neck. There is a metal plate on the back of the neck, it will get very cold, the 36 ventilation holes on the top and bottom will blow air around your face and your body.

The feature that sets this device apart from most wearable fans available is the metal plate. The fan uses a Ku Peltier radiator to quickly cool the metal plate. If you are very hot, the result is a nirvana. On the website, they made some considerable statements about these effects, including your body temperature will drop by 12 degrees in one second and 8 degrees in three seconds. I think this may apply to the surface of your skin because I am pretty sure that if your core temperature drops that much, you will lose consciousness due to hypothermia.I mean, I’m not a doctor-but it’s immediately noticeable, and if you think you might burn like a drummer, that’s great Spinal puncture.

So what does it look like? I think it looks like a pair of headphones you wear around your neck, so I don’t think you will feel like a fool if you don’t wear it anywhere in your daily life. I don’t have it. I walk my dog, walk to (and around) the grocery store, play poker with my friends, and wear it in my car while driving (because my air conditioner takes a long time to actually start). At this point, it has almost become an extension of my body.

I also let others test it. Everyone who wears it is very surprised by its effect. A few friends want to use it to play ball and camp. A friend said that this may be the best device I have tested for Gadgeteer, and said that it will be a “game changer” when he travels to Disneyland with the kids for the last time.

I only have one friend who hates it because of fans. He said that it just didn’t suit him. The fan has three speeds, but even at the lowest speed, if it is long enough, it is enough to blow your hair. Strike requires getting used to, I hope there is a way to turn it off or use it at a lower speed. It also made a slight whirr. For example, the sound is not enough to interfere with the conversation, but it is obvious.

In terms of safety, you don’t have to worry about getting your hair caught, because the fan uses a bladeless design. In fact, I didn’t really feel it sucking in air from any area. If the fan does bother you, the width of the device is adjustable, so if the fan blows on your face and bothers you, you can widen it.

The air blown by the fan may be slightly cooler than the ambient air, but it is not as cold as the air conditioner in a car. I don’t think you would want that, because the air conditioner is really cold when it comes out of the vent. In this case, the vent is only a few centimeters away from your body. If it blows around my neck and ears, I think it will soon become uncomfortable.

The device uses a USB-C cable to charge, which means you can charge it anytime, anywhere in a variety of ways. They estimate that it takes about 2.5 hours to charge from empty, and you will get about 8 hours of use at low speeds. I wear it for about so many times a day, and it does work for that long, but I think the results will be different because the neck plate closes after 30 minutes. I’m sure it depends on how many times you open it. In the future, I think they may want to use the neckplate as a separate control, because on this device you use the same button to turn on and adjust the fan, and then press and hold the button to turn on the neckplate. If you can turn off the fan and use the cold part at the back of your neck alone, that would be great.

One final note about the packaging: it is fancy! It is housed in a sturdy box with a smooth black plastic shell inside, which reveals the device when opened. This will be a great gift for someone who has always been hot in your life!

You can adjust the width of the device to let the fan vents blow as you like.

what do I like

  • Refrigerate on demand!
  • Doesn’t look weird

What will i change

  • I hope that the cold plate becomes a function independent of the fan and has its own control.

cool down

Final thoughts

You will have to pry the Torras Coolify wearable air conditioner from my cold body.
