When Melania Trump was in the White House, the media and the left could not stop lying to her.
For example, there is the infamous jacket story. Remember when Melania Trump was visiting an illegal foreign child detained in a facility in Texas, wearing a jacket that said “I really don’t care, you care”? But that is not true.She wore it for the media in Washington, DC, but Never walked through it in Texas. She wore it to punish the media for spreading lies about her after her kidney surgery, claiming that she was “missing”. But to this day, the media don’t know how many people believed her lie about wearing a jacket to see her children.
But another lie they told last year was incredibly stubborn. Presidential historian Michael Beschloss once again reiterated that Melania Trump destroyed the rose garden.

Unfortunately, Beschloss is an avid Trump hater, and he has real problems with everything about Trump. But many people on the left have pushed away this lie. Various repeated lies claim that Melania removed all the roses of the other first ladies and/or that she cut down the cherry tree.
Not only did Melania not destroy the rose garden, but she Trying to restore it to the original rose garden plan Bunny Mellon was in bad condition during the Kennedy administration in 1962, before poor drainage and overgrowth in the following years. For the health of the garden, she had to remove the crabapple trees because they blocked the sunlight from the flowers. She did not pluck the roses of the other first ladies, because when she got there, most of the roses had withered. As pointed out in the fact-checking of the claim, these flowers continue to wither and are replaced in each management. Melania also added a path and improved infrastructure to make it accessible to people with disabilities. The pictures released by Beschloss were released shortly after Melania changed things, so obviously there is not much growth yet.
A “historian” should know all this, or at least know the facts to check him. If he does not let his hatred of Trump hinder his history. But Melania made him tell the truth.

When even politics and USA Today Say it out and you know how bad a lie is. But this may not stop the lie from continuing. People like Beschloss just refuse to tell the truth.
