Crowdfunding review -Take time to clean, it sucks, am I right? I totally agree with anything that can reduce cleaning time and effort, especially if it can also improve cleaning performance. Goodpapa is promoting kitchen cleaning through the new Kickstarter campaign of K1 4-in-1 rotary scrubber. They have a history of spinning cleaning products and I am very impressed with it Rotating toilet brush. Since I don’t want to bring the toilet brush into the kitchen to clean the dishes, I am happy to try a special kitchen brush.

What is it?

The K1 brush is a hand-held rechargeable rotating kitchen brush with multiple cleaning head attachments.

Design and features

K1 is very suitable for handheld and charging cradles. The handle may be 1/2 inch long, but in general, I like this design. The picture above shows it sitting on the charging dock, and the charging indicator lights up. When fully charged or in use, the indicator will light up. It flashes when charging or when the battery power is low.

Just below the indicator light, we see the first of the two power switches. two? Why? Well, some people want to open it with their thumbs. This switch is for them.

For those who pay more attention to the index finger, Goodpapa thoughtfully added a second trigger below the scrubber.

Below the trigger, you can see the dual-contact magnetic charging contacts. When you install the scrubber on the charging base, these contacts will be stuck on the charging contacts on the charging base.

The micro USB (USB-C? Anyone? Anyone?) port is located on the side of the stand. Under the ends of the bracket, beautiful rubber pads can protect your countertop and help prevent slippage.

All accessories are snapped into place through three magnet mounts.

The six-sided rotation center axis fits the center of the attachment.

The triple cleaning head has three independent rotating discs with hook and loop pads. The scouring pad is attached to those. Scouring pads can be used safely on glass.

There are two types of bottle brush attachments. The head is connected to the scrubber, and then the brush is inserted into the head. The brush itself can be extended for deeper bottles. The bristles are soft to the touch.

The PP head has polypropylene bristles, which is a bit hard, but can be deformed to scrub corners and uneven surfaces.

Finally, the wire brush has metal bristles. It is designed for use in metal pans and grills.

set up

To set up a brush, all you need to do is charge it, and then eject the brush you want to use. To charge, simply plug the cable into the stand and your own USB power source. Then, place the scrubber on the base and charge it for up to two hours.

Performance

All accessories are cool, and the charging stand is very convenient. It’s all good, but if the brush doesn’t clean well, so what, right? I am happy to report that Goodpapa K1 comes with a clean hole punch!

Oops. This is our old microwave platter. We often use it to make bacon. Hmm…Bacon…what am I talking about? Oh yes, back to our comment. This thing will never be completely clean. We scrub it and run it through the dishwasher. Nevertheless, when the microwave oven makes things very hot, stains still exist. The raised ribs and edges also make it difficult to clean effectively.

I turned on the PP brush, sprayed a little water and detergent on the tray, and then started to work.

This is the final result.

The color impressed me! If you listen to the video carefully, you can hear the motor working when I press it. This thing has some serious torque. I put a lot of pressure on the brush, so the bristles will deform and enter all the corners and crevices, wow-did it. The motor never slows down, it does some powerful scrubbing.

I plan to scrub the grill thoroughly with a wire brush in the near future. The bottle attachment is very suitable for scrubbing the inside of the deep steel insulated glass we use every day. The scrub head can be used to remove stubborn stains on dishes and stoves.

One trend that I don’t care about is to eliminate power supplies. Many companies seem to think that we have a lot of USB power supplies all around us. This only works for a while, because once they are all used up, it will increase the overall cost of the product. Just send a power supply.

Another thing missing is the toolbox. With all the parts and parts that come with it, it would be great to have some kind of caddy to keep them organized. The tested pricing starts at $79, and the caddy seems to be a reasonable addition.

what do I like

  • Impressive torque
  • Complete set of cleaning tools
  • Double trigger is convenient
  • The storage/charging stand is perfect for placing on the counter

What will i change

  • The grip may be longer
  • Can we agree to use USB-C?
  • It would be great if they included USB power
  • Tool storage box will be a welcome addition

Final thoughts

The first Goodpapa product I reviewed, the toilet brush, was impressed by its powerful torque. This seems to be a good thing, because the K1 scrubber is equally impressive. K1 is equipped with a full set of cleaning tools, which is an excellent supplement to the kitchen. This found a permanent home on our kitchen counter. It should save us time and elbow grease, which is a great thing.
