Show some of RedState’s love to Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine

Last time we advertised the virtues of conservative music artists on the good pirate ship RedState, we watched John Ondrasik, That is, five fights. Great for soft emotions, but when those suggestions are more aggressive? Don’t be afraid; we are already there for you. how.

Dave Mustaine is a leader in various fields of the metal royal Megadeth. He has never shy away from expressing his conservative political views through print or music. For example, consider this lyrics from “Dystopia” released in 2016, but it weirdly predicts where we are today:

People with low morale and over-control think
The fastest way to end a war is to fail
Dictatorship begins with tyranny
You have to destroy cancer fundamentally

(Warning: the video is quite violent)

Mustaine is one of the most fascinating and multifaceted figures in the rock industry.Survived a dysfunctional family and set foot in dark magic, Severe chemical abuse, and recent laryngeal cancer, Mustaine-he is Christianity ——Represents perseverance. And proved that being fired by Metallica is not the end of a music career.

Anyway, Mustaine talks about politics. In 2012, he Support Rick Santorum. he Openly despise United Nations. A lot of music media’ Contempt and fear, Mustaine expresses his thoughts freely, no matter how others will react.

Mustaine can also be a surprisingly gentle Voice of reason, Just like what appeared on the FOX business network after Donald Trump won in 2016:

To quote Mustaine:

“I hope this country can now get rid of all the quarrels and become the country we can all become again. I have experienced ten presidents in my life and traveled the world like me — you know I travel a lot — and visited all the other different things. Place…like you know we played in Venezuela. Communism. When they just let the (Berlin) wall fall, they went back to the Eastern bloc. Something like that. We have a very good time here. OK. I hope everyone can come together.”

Let’s go back to the place Mustaine is best at communicating, which is the lyrics. Take the aforementioned “Symphony of Destruction” as an example:

You take away a mortal
And let him control
See him as a god
Watching people’s heads roll

Or this comes from “joint hatred”:

Poverty in their kitchen
Taken hostage by oil for food
Yet their own plate is full of fat from their land
There is no blood on their hands, right Kojo?
They promise to tell the truth
Leave no fingerprints,
They will lose the UN in some way
Victims, I fear it will be us, sisters and brothers

The last example of the song “Post-American World”:

When you stay away from what makes you strong
You will only deceive yourself; you will only weaken your career
If you resist false narratives, there will be spreading hatred
Smash all dissidents who still think about themselves

If you don’t like where we are going
Then you won’t like what happens next

What will we be like?
In the post-American world
Why cringe all of this
Who opposes the American world?

You got the picture.

So if you like repressive music and you like to serve your politics with unwavering enthusiasm, check out Megadeth. If you are already a fan of the band, now you have more reasons to fall in love with this band. In either case, Dave Mustaine is an artist worth supporting.

If you don’t include my favorite Megadeth tune, you won’t be able to accomplish this:
