Guerrero, perhaps accidentally, asked this question with the answer embedded in it. There are many reasons why the Latin nation withdrew from the Democratic Party, but it can be boiled down to a very simple explanation.
The left does not listen to them.
For example, Guerrero referred to the Latin population as “Latino”, and they repeatedly stated that they did not like the word.Just last August, I Wrote an article Details a Gallup poll found that only 5% of Latin Americans like the word “Latinx”.This is just a three-point increase from the last time they Asked that question March 2020.
They don’t like it, but the Democrats and the left continue to try to impose this sociopolitical label on them, believing that they are doing this to respect others. they are not. They don’t want it. They have made it clear. The Democratic Party is still using it.
The Democrats continue to look down on Latin voters who are of no use to them, and it does not help. For example, as Cuba’s protests against socialism and communism are in full swing, the Biden administration has decided that it is time to take a hard line on their irresponsibly lax things; illegal immigration. The Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, unequivocally stated that if anyone from Cuba tries to seek asylum in the United States, they will be denied entry. I say this because migrants continue to flow across our southern border like water from a broken dam.
Why? Because it is well known that once a Cuban becomes a citizen, he will become a Republican voter, and the last thing Democrats need is to let those Latins who know what socialism really does to the country come here to oppose it. It is difficult to control a person who has been controlled, and it is also difficult to lie to a person who knows what a lie looks like.

So, if you are Latino, as long as you are useful, you are good to the Democratic Party, and it can provide a good insight into the priorities of the Democratic Party.
Most importantly, the Democrats did not reach the Latin voters because they could not.
