Our editor-in-chief Jennifer Van Laar tweeted about the incident three days ago. It took a while for traditional media to catch up.

KTLA 5 is now online case:
Authorities said on Monday that Torrance police are investigating the discovery of hundreds of ballots for the election, including drugs, loaded guns and multiple driver’s licenses, in a vehicle where a felon was found to have passed out a week ago.
According to the Torrance Police Department, on the evening of August 16, the car was parked in the parking lot of the 7-11 convenience store and about 300 votes were recovered from the car.
According to the police press release, the police also found a loaded gun, methamphetamine, thousands of mails, a weight scale, and multiple California driver’s licenses and credit cards held in the name of others. The Xanax pill was also located on an unidentified male subject, who the authorities referred to as a felon.
He was arrested on suspicion of violating weapons, drugs and counterfeit goods.
Local CBS2 News Said to be Exceed 300 ballots were found.Torrance Police Department updated their Facebook page Said it was cooperating with Torrance’s Special Investigation Department, the U.S. Postal Service, and the Public Integrity Department of the Los Angeles County District Attorney.
Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón is at the helm and threatened by a recall. I don’t have much hope.
According to the Facebook post, investigators are seeking to determine how the felon received the recall ballots and his intention to obtain these ballots. Apparently, the arrest took place on August 18, the same day that election officials began to mail ballots.
real?
In the conversation between KTLA and the police, they expressed the same confusion:
A police official said in a statement: “Investigators are trying to figure out how the election ballots fell into the suspect’s vehicle and what their purpose was for them to own the ballots.” “This is an isolated incident. Any other election ballot theft is irrelevant.”
I think when you immediately conclude that this is an “isolated incident”, you don’t need to look at other associated threads. The final statement on the Torrance PD Facebook post also illustrates this point:
This incident has nothing to do with the theft of any other election ballots.
This reflects their knowledge of other thefts that occurred in the recall of ballots. So, how popular is it? Is there more in Los Angeles County? Which other counties have reported such thefts? On the one hand, the investigative agency must keep certain things confidential, on the other hand, reminding the public of what is happening in the state will keep people on high alert and activate election integrity organizations, such as California Election Integrity Project (EIPCa) and Ric Grenell’s Repair California Take your own investigative measures.
Just like me Report Last week, two women were captured by cameras in Valley Village using the master key to open all mailboxes in the apartment building and take out the recall ballots. This also happened on August 18.
Two women stole the governor of California from the camera. Election ballots are recalled from the apartment mailbox using the USPS master key to open the entire mailbox at once. This was in Valley Village earlier this week. Another man was also caught with hundreds of votes in Torrance. pic.twitter.com/n8s3McIH1T

Perhaps this investigation will link the votes stolen by these women with the votes held by Torrance felons. Torrance and Valley Village are both in Los Angeles County, about 32 miles apart.
KFSN Fresno News also Report On August 19, two men were arrested for mail theft. Mailing addresses range from Clovis in the north (near Fresno) to San Diego in the south.
