Review – In the past few months, I have been remodeling a bathroom in my basement, which the previous homeowner has obviously neglected for many years. It requires a lot of work, and as a DIYer, I can handle this task. Now I am in the final stage of work, sound/music is a feature I want to add. My idea is to add a shelf in the shower room to place the speakers, but this means that the speakers must be waterproof and durable. This portable Bluetooth speaker has a grille that surrounds the fuselage, with a speaker at each end, with a control device on one long side and a connection on the other long side. It has rubber feet that you can lean on.

Performance
Out of the box, I charged the speaker fully, then turned on the power and connected via Bluetooth. The whole process is simple and straightforward.
On one side of the speaker body, there is a connection hub, which is covered by a rubber cover to prevent water from entering. These ports are similar to any such speakers, with a charging port, a USB output port for powering/charging other USB devices, and an auxiliary port that allows you to plug in audio devices via 1/8-inch plugs.
The speakers are well made and moderate in weight. The built-in battery can last for more than 7 hours, which is my longest continuous playback time. The speakers are suitable for all the genres I often listen to, including jazz, lover’s rock, Caribbean, Latin and easy listening. It provides a very good balance and separation of bass, midrange and treble. The details of music reproduction are clear, and the volume is small enough for parties, and more than enough for quiet nights.
Like most Bluetooth speakers I have tested, the phone function works well and the calls on both ends of the line are clear. The speaker can be paired with similar speakers.

Final thoughts
The Votomy VT360 Bluetooth speaker is perfect for me to relax and listen to jazz while hanging out on the deck at night. The sound quality of speakers of this size is very good. I never use this type of device to charge another device, even though it is capable. The volume is more than adequate and can actually be very loud in a quiet night. At first, I did think it was a bit expensive because it was in a crowded area. However, IMHO, its overall robust performance coupled with proven water resistance makes it a good choice.
