As we reported earlier, Rolling Stone published a story claiming that hospitals in Oklahoma were unable to treat gunshot wound victims because they were overloaded by taking ivermectin to treat COVID overdose.
The doctor said that the Oklahoma hospital was overwhelmed due to an overdose of horse repellent, and the shooting victims had to wait https://t.co/ke654AV6o1 pic.twitter.com/Is4nAsSOyA

The source of their incredible story? A doctor. No citations from statistics, hospitals or anyone else. But they do have a very good misleading picture of people waiting in line. It seems that the victims of the shooting would be outside the hospital, waiting in line. It turns out that this is an old photo of people waiting for a vaccine. The winter coat gave it a little bit.
Of course, the larger claim about overdose is wrong. A hospital where the doctor worked in the past said that their hospital was not like that, and he hadn’t worked there for months (so now I really don’t know what happened there).
Rolling Stone Later updated their article Pay attention to the corrections made by the hospital. They should withdraw the whole story, but obviously they don’t have enough moral fibers to do so. Basically erasing the “correction” of the story means that the story should be withdrawn.
But this story is everywhere — quoted and promoted by everyone in the liberal disinformation world, including Rachel Maddo, and she still hasn’t corrected or taken down her tweets.
“Patients overdose ivermectin to support rural hospitals and ambulances in Oklahoma”
“‘The scariest thing I’ve heard and seen is people’s vision loss,’ he said.”https://t.co/P909GtxBQZ

Now, this tweet is very enlightening.
It shows how useless Maddow is, they didn’t even do any basic checks before spreading something that actually screamed that it was not true. Some “news”. However, this once again confirmed her prejudice against those ignorant people from Oklahoma, so this is the important thing, not the truth. This is also true for the large number of media that undoubtedly follow.
When it comes to the “false information” industry, the fact that it still appears on Twitter says almost everything. Where are the fact checkers who immediately jumped up to distort any false content the Republicans said (even if it was true)? Where is Twitter, and how misleading is marking this? None of these seem to be running here.
So, once again, when it comes to all this, we see-different rules apply to the person on the left.
As pointed out by the non-MAGA reporter Joe @Bernstein -She just wrote a great Harper story about the nonsense “false information” industry-She escaped because she is a liberal and Twitter won’t even add a note on it, which shows fraud:https://t.co/LrK0hGWb7q

The entire “anti-disinformation”/”counter-extremism” industry is a huge scam, funded by a handful of billionaires, governments, and NGOs: a scam that controls discourse while pretending to be neutral, non-ideological goals Fight against “false information”:https://t.co/MxYjCfq7js

These people want to censor the Internet on the grounds that you do not have enough responsibility to spread the information, so you need them-media and technology hegemons-to monitor speech and prevent false information.
These are purely false information agents. pic.twitter.com/1mHXhhDwFg

This is the real reason. One word: control.
