For most Americans, Labor Day marks the last weekend of the summer and the beginning of the school year. Family picnics, barbecues and sales events are held across the United States. This holiday is always held on the first Monday of September. According to the US Department of Labor, this is to celebrate the social and economic achievements of American workers. Labor Day was first celebrated in New York City in 1892 and became an official federal holiday in 1894 under the leadership of President Grover Cleveland. That was then.
Although my purpose is not to re-examine the roots of unions, nor the destructive impact on the U.S. auto industry in the last decades of the 20th century, the labor movement of the 1930s had one main goal: Workers felt that they were spending too much on work. Too much time and too many days; manufacturing workers are investing 70 hours per week generally.
Although Americans in 2021 may have different views on Labor Day, how or whether to observe or protest, one thing is clear: This is no longer your father’s Labor Day.
I came across two examples to illustrate this reality-the first one is from political cartoonist Michael Ramirez.

The obvious question is “Why?” We will get there.
As the hysteria about the COVID-19 “pandemic” subsided, despite the fact that Democratic darling Anthony Fauci-Mr. All Knowing-CNN and other free media “news” media and more The more delusional occupants continued to perform in the Oval Office, and tens of millions of Americans eagerly began to return to normal lives on the fruitful plain—including their jobs.
Unfortunately, as pointed out in the first point above, millions of Americans have not done so.
The obvious question is “Why not?” We will get there too.

After countless Americans-personally, emotionally and financially-have suffered a year of devastating losses, why are there so many labor shortages? Don’t be harsh or acrimonious, but in short, the answer is “Biden.” Six words: “Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.”
The fact is, as Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) correctly observed in a recent report Column, Most of the reasons have nothing to do with the Biden administration Unemployment benefits, They are “so big that they are motivating potential workers to stay at home instead of looking for work.”
Rubio pointed out: “Even if the vaccination rate has soared and the number of COVID-19 cases has plummeted, the government’s policies are still unable to return to normal for millions of people.”
To be fair, as the old saying goes, tango needs two people.

Another example-the reverse side of the coin-comes from the former South Carolina congressman and current Fox News host Trey Gaudí, who reflected on what Labor Day means to him on “American Sunday Night” yesterday.
“Monday is Labor Day. This is a day to celebrate American workers and work gifts. This is a day to reflect on the intrinsic value of work. …Part of celebrating work is to thank us for the opportunities we have received, and these jobs Teaches us about ourselves and others.”
In his typical expressionless way, Gaudí said:
“I have been working since I was a child. My father is the only poor doctor in medical history, at least he convinced us. So we work from the moment the law allows.
Some are lonely jobs like mowing, which will make you appreciate those lonely jobs. Then I went to the grocery store to buy things.
You also learned the lessons of life there. Men and women had to put things back, or decide what to buy or not to buy, that week, because the cash register asked for more money than they wanted.
Gaudí’s next job is in the warehouse. “I like this job,” he said.
Not because of what I did; because of who I did with. I have the best colleagues; they changed my life. Almost every one of my colleagues is black. Every one of my bosses is black. We are aware of our differences-we just don’t care.
After sharing a few painful memories of his warehouse work, Gowdy ended:
So on this Labor Day, let us thank a job. Let us work hard to speak for fellow Americans who want to work. Let us be convinced that we are a country that encourages work. Let us recognize and celebrate the intrinsic value of labor. And the sense of purpose and meaning it gives us all.
Makes you think, doesn’t it? This should be.
Imagine that today a Democratic president boldly declared in his inauguration speech:
“Don’t ask what your country can do for you-ask what you can do for your country.”
John Fitzgerald Kennedy challenges every American — from all walks of life on both sides of the aisle — to contribute to the public good in some way. Contribute to the United States. Give something back or pay something forward.
But what is the clear message of the Democratic Party today?of Joe Biden?
“America” owes “you”. In other words, the “selfish rich” must “pay their share” (redistribute wealth) to those “unfortunate”.With all due respect, we have a moral obligation to take care of those can not take care of yourself.those people will not take care of yourself? It must not work.
