The nasty slanders and laws spitting out of the mouths of progressive left-wing media speakers have indeed dropped to new lows.
I started my career during the Obama administration. Of course, there is no shortage of insults and acrimonies from the left, especially against black conservatives like me. It just comes with the territory. We accept it as the price of battle, and the great late Andrew Brightbart taught us how to accept it, even mocking it. We are happy fighters.
The progressive traditional media has never been too friendly to the rise of conservative media. This is understandable, but it rarely feels dangerous. It’s more like… losing your temper.
But since Trump was elected, what has happened in the progressive world has become increasingly disturbing. Trump shook their world. He is a complete outsider and shouldn’t even be a serious participant in the game, let alone a winner. It is too dangerous to have an outsider in the White House who does not respect the hierarchy and rules of life on Capitol Hill. He had to leave, and they spent four years trying their best to make sure he could do it.
You would think they would be happy that they won. They got their guys.Although Joe Biden is the strangest and saddest president I have ever experienced in my life, the point is still… he is Their Guys. Why do they look unhappy?
On the contrary, the progressive left has intensified censorship and raised the flames of political discourse to an almost unbearable level. Their puppets-Joey Reid, AOC and others-accused conservative voters on TV as murderers, white supremacists, and little Hitler. They no longer have the ability to treat their ideological opponents as humans. Even the rational conservative experts they once liked are still victims of their hate speech, because now it’s not about what you say and what you say and do can prove you. This is just your vote.
The Progressive Left has decided that anyone who is not them is an enemy, and therefore must eliminate the enemy in any necessary way.
Their preferred method is silence. The goal of the progressive left is to ensure that we cannot participate in public dialogue, our ideas cannot be heard, and our opinions cannot be considered. They really believe that if they let the spokesperson of conservatism disappear, they will magically “solve” the problem of conservatives.
After all, you idiots are just little robots with no ideas of your own! If we are here to provide you with your ideas, you will stop thinking.
Obviously I’m being ironic, but this is actually the leftist’s view of themselves, and they project it onto us. They cannot defend their ideas. The only way to be influential is to drive competing ideas out of the market.
Let’s face it. The real problem with progressive leftists and rightists is that we no longer need them.
They are no longer the gatekeepers of information and communication, which will really burn their gluten-free bread. They can’t stand it. No matter what they try, we keep bypassing their stupid and naive obstacles.
The progressive left has turned experts such as Dan Bongino and Dave Rubin into tech giants. Alternative social media sites continue to emerge here and there, and although they certainly do not have Twitter or Facebook caches, they can be used as communication options for those who need them.
It drives them crazy.
This is why we should continue to fight back. We cannot be discouraged by their strength. We have our own choices, we have our own choices, the stranger their censorship system, the more power brokers they create on the right.
They hate us because we don’t need them.
