Trapped in IKEA: Danish blizzard forces dozens of people to sleep in stores | Denmark

“We sleep in the furniture exhibition and showroom on the first floor, where there are beds, mattresses and sofa beds,” store manager Peter Elmose told Ekstra Bladet tabloid. People can “pick the exact bed they have always wanted to try.”

Elmos said that they watched TV and ate all night, adding that “very smoothly. It was a good night. It was all fun.”

The Danish public broadcaster DR says people work in the toy store next door Ikea Overnight in the department store.

“We just laughed at this situation because we might not experience it again,” Barrett added.
