Nvidia will officially release the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti later today, but we already know most of the important specifications.

This release will undoubtedly anger some people. For more than a year, GPU availability has been a nightmare, which has led to a substantial increase in the suggested retail price.
Therefore, the most important thing is the pricing and availability of this card. Currently, the price of RTX 3090 Ti is still unknown.
However, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the RTX 3090 is 1400 pounds/1,499 dollars, and the RTX 3080 Ti is 1,049 pounds/1,199 dollars.
For now, the cheapest Tencent 3090 Overclockers is £2,300. It is undeniable that it is not the founder’s version, so the cost of only paying for many third-party cards will increase, but this is usually not a 64% price difference.
As for Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti, you can choose Inno3D iChill X4 only 1,589.99 pounds, of which the price increase is 52% higher than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the founder’s version.
So where is the NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti? It’s hard to say that the RTX 3080 Ti is 500 US dollars (71%) more than the RTX 3080 in the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, and the jump from RTX 3080 to RTX 3090 is more than doubled.
However, even if Nvidia doubles the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the RTX 3090, it will only be £2,800. This is a crazy amount, but it hasn’t risen much compared to the current retail price of the RTX 3090.
Some websites believe that it will be launched at a price as low as US$2,000/2,00. This is of course possible, but if they do, the stock will last for a fraction of a second at the time of launch, and it will inevitably lead to backlash from buyers. But then again, charging graphics cards close to three yuan may also cause strong opposition.

When you look at ultra-high-end devices, the law of diminishing returns applies, which of course is the case here.
Compared with the RTX 3090, NVIDIA has made incremental changes, but it will become the most graphics card on the market, which is all they need to do to ensure success.
The memory speed increased by 7.7% from 19.5 Gbps to 21 Gbps, which in turn provided a 7.7% bandwidth improvement, making it the first card to break the 1 TB/s bandwidth barrier.
The basic clock and boost clock reached 1560 MHz/1860 MHz, respectively, an increase of 11.8% and 9.7%.
CUDA cores have increased by 256, which sounds more impressive than the 2.4% increase. You will also get some additional GPU clusters (2.5% increase).
All of these add up to greatly improve performance. I suspect that the benefits of gamers will be limited, but professional users who can reduce the time of intensive rendering tasks can recoup the increased cost of this card.
All these increases also mean that TDP has increased from 350W to 450W, and the PSU requirement is considered to be 1000W! !
