Design and features
From the moment I opened the box, the Adventure Mate 5-in-1 multifunctional tool left a deep impression on me. The initial impression of quality has not disappeared. From the tool itself to the leather sheath, to the high-quality magnetic buckle, this product has not cut into any corners!
Of course, the first thing I did was take it out of the holster and inspect the axe. The axe head is made of high carbon steel, which has extremely high durability and edge retention. The hand-sharpened blades out of the box are very sharp-I mean extremely sharp-to shave the hair on your arms.
The soft leather axe sheath is powerful, but it won’t look bulky when you take it off and put it in your pocket. The snaps are easy to buckle and unbuckle. If you want to tie it, the hole in the handle is a good contact. The rubber-like coating on the handle provides a very cute grip. I also like the exaggerated heel on the handle, it does provide positive grip for the handle.
The saw has a unique 6.5 inch (16 cm) cutting blade, which is perfect for trimming bushes and sawing logs without getting stuck. I have had similar blades on my Leatherman and my hunting saw. They cut very well, perhaps the best of all manual saws. The extra blades and mounting bolts provided in the box are very good, because no matter how well the saw is made, there is always the possibility of bending the blades.
The shovel has built-in pedals and sharp digging edges. Although I don’t use such a small shovel often, it is still very good to use in camping or emergency situations. The sharp digging edge is not sharp, but it is much sharper than most shovels.
Many tasks are inseparable from the hammer, especially campsites. The heavy-duty milling surface is very suitable for hitting ground piles and hammering tent nails. I especially like milling (waffle head) faces for better grip. The hammer surface is also larger than a standard hammer, which is very suitable for those who are not very good at hitting the ball.
The hook is optimized to easily hold the handle of the wire kettle from a distance, pull out the tent nail, and even double as a corkscrew. I can see that it is mainly used to remove hot pot from a campfire or pull out tent nails. The hook is also pointed in the right direction so as not to hook on the wood when using the axe.

The leather case has a magnetic buckle that can be easily unlocked by simply pulling the red label. It also has a strap loop on the back and a few loop points on the top. You can hang the shoulder strap on it (not provided).
