review – A few years ago, I bought a really sturdy phone stand that used one of my cup holders as a way to hold the base. It works great for keeping my phone safe and stable. However, this came at the cost of losing one of my 2 precious cup holders in the front console. The solution would be a similar design that also offers a built-in cup holder. This cup holder with car stand consists of 4 plastic pieces that snap together. At the end of the top, there is a phone holder that holds your phone from the sides and bottom with spring adjustable arms. There’s fin-like plastic around the base that fits snugly into the car’s cupholders.

This cup holder/phone mount was easy to install, and the adjustability of the phone mount gave me multiple placement options until I was happy with its location. Driving around it held my phone safely with very little vibration. My problem is the cup holder. It will at least work with fairly large cups, but I’m sure most people will carry water bottles or coffee mugs/cups. While it does offer adjustability for larger cups, it doesn’t fit snugly on smaller bottles or cups, etc. So far my water bottle and coffee mug haven’t fallen out, but I’m concerned that the average bottle or mug could turn into a projectile in the event of a severe abrupt stop.

final thoughts
I love the Joytutus car cup holder with phone mount because it offers both options and I really like the adjustability of the phone mount. The way it protects my iPhone 13 Max pro seems more than adequate. However, I really wish the large cup holder was designed to be incrementally adjustable based on the size of the cups/cups. Using this device will be a matter of personal choice. Now, it will stay in my truck.
