review – I love designing landscape lighting around my home all year round. However, due to the NYC winter, I tend to take a break when it’s really cold and snowy. So from just after Christmas to early spring, I wasn’t too indulgent. Now that we’re rapidly approaching spring, it’s time to get started. As I was thinking about what to do with landscape lights this year, I had a chance to review the XMCOSY Solar Torch Light. Let’s see how easy they are to set up and how they look.

The XMCOSY solar flashlight consists of metal parts for the stake and pole and plastic for the light itself. The top opens counterclockwise to reveal the switch and access to replace the rechargeable battery. It is available in 2 height options, 20.25″ or 39.56″, by using 1 or 2 poles with ground stakes.
Performance
Once I had the pole and stake together, I turned the top of the light on by turning it counter-clockwise, then turned on the switch. The switch allows you to choose between a solid white or a warm flashing light, which is also where you can swap out the replaceable rechargeable battery.
As the sun went down, the lights came on.

final thoughts
I love the XMCOSY solar flashlight. I like that the stakes and poles are metal and aluminum and rust-proof. The lights are attractive and bright, and the battery is user-replaceable. well done! !
