This week Dan and Ian shared an update on “Dynamite Jobs”.Learn from some sage advice from recent guests Ayman Abdullah, they’ve been focusing on the “P” that really matters, which is breaking the plateau by building a solid foundation with “product, promotion, and process.” The idea is that this will enable them to move to the next phase of the business, from “player to coach”:
“One of the points that Ayman made was, ‘Look, you’re the last star player, you’re going to get a rookie contract forever’ and no one else will work harder than you, will care less, and will demand more money’…so when you’re ready to pick up the clipboard, you have to have a rock-solid legacy in product, promotion, process and people…and now all of a sudden, we’ Not a jump shot. I want to point this out because I see a lot of people trying to get into an eight-figure, seven-figure business by bringing in doomed executives because it’s not clear how the business will grow.”
