reviewDo you need headlamps that provide “you see me” or brighter “I see you” lighting? Cyclists use these terms to refer to bicycle lights. This The Goodwill Headlight Flashlight is a headlight that does both. It provides daylight brightness if you need it. The light has 10 steady and blinking modes and costs less than $20. test and observe

fit
This Kindness Shu headlamp is comfortable to wear. It’s safe and never moves when I’m taking long walks or doing tasks that require a lot of head movement.

brightness

We’ve reviewed some bright flashlights that start fires here at The Gadgeteer. Some of these lamps can ignite paper with their turbo beams!it won’t be a problem Kindly Shu headlamp. Even in its bright mode, the light lens or front assembly does not generate heat. But it’s bright enough. You just won’t sunburn your forehead with it.

You’ve seen flashing police lights on TV. The human eye sees better than a camera. The video above is mainly to demonstrate the flash mode.

The red front and rear LEDs will be visible at night, but not as “day bright” as the white flash pattern on the front. The red LED in the front and the red/white LED in the back aren’t quite as bright as some high-quality bike taillights, but are useful for safe nighttime walking in high-traffic neighborhoods.

beam

This is a bright mode that illuminates the main forward beam and a bar of white LEDs. In every shed shot, I was 20 feet from the wall.

This is just the main front LED, on.

This is the low beam, which also activates the white bar LED.

The main front beam is mainly spotlight type and floodlight type. There’s a nice, useful “spill” beyond where the main beam is cast, but when I’m walking down a nearby street at night, I turn my head to put the main beam on objects in front of me. There are plenty of overflows to tell you where to put your feet when you walk, or see dogs running towards me from their yards. oops.

visibility to others

The fence is about 60 feet away.

The first mode of the Hoiyishu headlights is high brightness, through the main front LED lights. It’s bright enough to illuminate many feet ahead on the road or across fields.

The white flashing pattern up front is bright enough to be seen by oncoming traffic even during the day. I wish I could fit my Haoyishu headlight to my bike helmet, but the front of the helmet is sloping too far for the light to hold securely. A brimless helmet style or a skateboard helmet may be able to accommodate a HOESUN headlamp.

task lighting
Some tasks do not require bright light. I’ve found the bar LEDs to be good enough for multiple tasks, and it can be useful in some setups if the headlamps have a lower light pattern. As a glasses wearer, I have some harsh light spills from my glasses when using the white front strip LEDs. Solved this by moving the headlight further up my forehead.

Pay attention to the charging indicator LED.

what do I like

  • Multiple lighting modes
  • high brightness
  • Excellent front flash brightness.
  • Great prices and features

what would i change

Very low light mode can be useful for situations where low light is most useful.

final thoughts

This The Goody Shu headlamp is a versatile task or safety headlamp. Its multiple lighting modes and brightness levels, as well as rear security LEDs make it a great choice for work, play, or both.
