Nexvoo Health Ergonomic Chair Review-Find out if sitting for a long time really hurts you

Nexvoo Health Ergonomic Chair

Review – I spent a lot of time sitting at my desk, becoming a software developer and writer. I have had many chairs over the years, some are good and some are not good. I recently set up a room, and Nexvoo Health Ergonomic Chair’s review of the quotation couldn’t be more appropriate. Will I put it in the office or use it in the guest room? Please read it carefully to find out the answer.

Design and features

The Nexvoo Health ergonomic chair needs to be assembled. It is packed in a big box, but the packaging is not very good, and the two shafts of the base stick out from the sides of the box. Despite this shortcoming, nothing has been damaged.

For office chairs, assembly is very typical. I find the seat part is very comfortable, even better than the Autonomous ErgoChair I currently use. However, the seat height is too low for all the tables in my house. The range is 16 inches to 19.5 inches, while a typical chair is 17 inches to 21 inches. This difference in height means that your forearms must be raised to the table instead of flush with it, which is generally considered ergonomic. Compared to other chairs I have seen, the wheels are also very good.

The armrests are mounted on the back of the chair, not on the seat like many other chairs.

The headrest can be adjusted slightly up and down, but not forward and backward, so you actually have to tilt your head back to use it. The headrest is also very flexible.

The headrest is good, but not very adjustable

The lumbar support is adjustable. However, due to the range of motion (up and down), it will only adjust its position on your back, not its degree of support.

Lumbar support is average

The armrests of the Nexvoo Health Ergonomic Chair can be rotated up and down, forward and backward, inward and outward. However, only up and down movements have a button/latch mechanism to keep them in place. When pressure is applied, other adjustments move, so it is difficult to maintain adjustments where you like. The seat and armrests are straight up. The armrests are 27 inches from the floor. A typical table is 28 to 30 inches high. Normally, unless your keyboard is installed under the table, you will adjust the armrest to the same height as the table.

The mesh material is very breathable
The armrest can be adjusted in three positions

I found quite a bit of bending between the various parts of the chair. For example, when the backrest is locked, sitting your weight from upright to leaning backward will cause the armrest to move about 1/2 inch (13 mm). When the backrest is unlocked, when the backrest is tilted backward, the arm will also rotate upward and rise. The resistance of the backrest is also not adjusted. It is either locked or removable. I prefer the backrest to be harder to lean back.

The health index function of the chair is located in the right armrest. At first, I thought it would be difficult to plug in the charging cable. However, magnetic plugs make this task easy. It is so easy; it finds and connects itself almost automatically. You can attach it without even looking at it. The app can be used on iPhone and Android phones, and uses Bluetooth to communicate with the chair. You don’t run the sensor continuously, it is designed to be turned on manually, run the application, and then turn it off.

Health monitoring sensors are easy to reach and will not hinder

At first, I thought the health index function was a gimmick. However, after using it, I found it very useful and simple. My readings accurately show my stress state because I have been struggling with some back problems and shoulder problems recently.

what do I like

  • The seat part is very comfortable
  • The wheels look great
  • Health monitoring application

What will i change

  • The seat is not raised high enough
  • Not as strong as other chairs

Final thoughts

If your keyboard is installed under the desk, the Nexvoo Health ergonomic chair may be a good addition to your work space. However, if you put the keyboard on the desktop, you may find that the chair is a bit low to be ergonomic. The seat part is very good, but the rest of the chair is more flexible than I care about.
