A state representative claimed that he was racially discriminatory and then released Body-Cam footage – RedState

The victim has become currency In our society, nothing is healthy or normal. The most recent example comes from a Minnesota politician named John Thompson. The state representative claimed that he was racially discriminated against by the police, which caused a sensation. After being stopped, he shared his crying story at a social justice event, claiming that a police officer targeted him for “black driving.”

In fact, he does not have a front license plate, which is required in Minnesota. Not only that, the Wisconsin driver’s license that Thompson drove was revoked. What is the reason for the suspension? Because he did not pay support. This guy is not only a liar, but he is obviously moonlit.

Now that the body camera footage has been released, it shows that Thompson’s description of a racist official against him is completely wrong. This every Fox News.

Thompson then asked him in the video why he was stopped. The officer said it was because his car “has no front panel, and the way you take off from behind the lights.”

“I’m too old to escape the police, man,” Thompson said. “You described me because you looked at my face and died. I got a ticket for driving in Black. You pulled me over because you saw a black face in this car, brother. I There is no way to take off with you behind me in hell. … You looked at this car, turned around, followed my car, that’s why—”

The official then told the state representative that the interaction was being recorded by body cameras.

“I know. But what I want to say is that what you did is wrong for black people,” he said. “And you need to stop it. Thank you very much, but this ticket is meaningless to me… What I am saying to you is to stop racial profiling of black cars, sir. Don’t do that.”

The police officer argued that he did not racially characterize him, and finally told Thompson to wish you good night, and then walked away.

It was 1:20 in the morning when this traffic jam occurred. Before pulling him through the visibly colored window, the police officer could even see that the idea that the man was black was an extension. In any case, there is nothing in the video to indicate that he was described or bullied in any way. In fact, the police officer seemed very tolerant and allowed him to drive away with a revoked license.

Thompson tried to show off his privileges by letting people know that he was a state representative, but it was not a free ticket. No part of the video supports his allegations.

The Sao Paulo police chief asked for an apology and pointed out that this is not something anyone should lie about.

“I didn’t take these allegations lightly, so I looked at the traffic station, looked at the camera footage of the body worn out, and talked to the sergeant.” Axtell wrote in a Facebook post on Friday“This stop was made at around 1:20 in the morning, and it has nothing to do with the driver’s race.”

“Simply put, traffic stops are by book,” Axtel continued. “What happened after that was nothing but this. I was frustrated and disappointed by the state representative’s response to the stop. He did not take responsibility for his decisions and actions, but tried to change the subject, slander and deny any wrongdoing.

It is worth noting that as far as I know, I was considered white and I was stopped because I did not have a front license plate. It is not in Minnesota, but in Texas. People are always stopped for this kind of thing, especially when the police are heavily guarded after midnight.

Lying to racism is dangerous. It will cause division, but it will also make officers a target in the future. Thompson should be ashamed of himself. However, you will not be shocked to learn that he is not. In fact, he has doubled.

He did send a message Facebook reading on Sunday: “I know why I have a (target) on my back. But as long as I know that slander (sic) does not work!!! I (sic) will not stop exerting pressure!!!”

How can such a person be elected to public office? Thompson was also under scrutiny for possibly not living in his area (this may explain why he has a Wisconsin license). The voting dynamics in these downtown areas can sometimes be numb. I don’t expect Republicans to be elected in Sao Paulo, but is this really the best the city has to offer?
