May AAPI Exporters Roundtable
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, SBA Regional Administrator Mike Fong, and Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho participated in a special AAPI Exporter Roundtable last month, which featured a select group of AAPI business owners or exporters.
Attended by YP Chan, CEO of Avidian Technologies; Masha Li, Chairman of the National Chamber of Commerce Alliance; Wensheng Li, CEO of Regal; Liam Li, CFO of a large Seattle hedge fund; Dr. Tom Long, CEO of Hemingway; Dr. Weimin Lu, CEO of Anchora (Shanghai) ; Dr. Chris Own, CEO, Voxa; Thuy Van, Managing Director, ALV and Co-CEO, Long Van Group; Carol Ye, CEO, Farm Breeze International; Ben Zhang, CEO, Great Pacific Industries; and Jeff, Co-Founder, Voctech, Seattle Zhu.
Organisers said some of the key discussions were the climate of anti-Asian hatred and how competition between the U.S. and China affects all AAPI business owners.
