Interestingly, we only hear dangerous threats from networks that claim to be dangerous.
Let’s take a look at the list of items that we are told these days are absolute in our political landscape:
- Conservatives across the country are committed to the big lie.
- Donald Trump is blindly followed by every Republican.
- Qanon provides a mentality for anyone on the central right.
These truths are widely known and continue to spread, but there is a core basic reality behind these maxims. Each topic in these entries has received closer attention, and mainstream journalism has put more effort into disseminating information to the public.
Interestingly, although I am said to be fascinated by President Trump, I mainly learn about his views and activities through reporters. Although I was accused of pushing for denial of the 2020 election results, I only heard instructions on the matter through CNN and MSNBC, and as someone who was allegedly shocked by Qanon’s instructions, I only edited from Brian Sturt Hear the instructions from this vague source and Chris Hayes.
It seems that in order to be a blindly conservative drone, people need to download Rachael Maddow’s podcast and sign up for Chris Cillizza’s newsletter, which is why I’m so happy to learn that Mike Lindell, the CEO of My Pillow Group, held a period of 3-day election fraud seminar. I didn’t know that I was flooding my inbox with credentials through some counter-channel message boards or conservative public relations companies. I did not receive a march order on social media, nor did I see it in pop-up ads when browsing voter fraud sites on the dark web. I saw it on CNN.
The media is in the throes of despair and timidity, trying to get the craziest ideas and strangest figures in politics to be accepted as the mainstream thought leaders of the Republican Party. Note how people like Marjorie Taylor Greene often appeared in their headlines when she was just a freshman representative, and her words should only be heard by her Georgian voters. It illustrates everything that her comments are considered dangerous and a threat to our democracy. At the same time, the media replays these same comments in the video loop and repeats her terrible quotes in the headlines.
The same goes for Lindel and his efforts to overthrow the election. On CNN, they also introduced the meeting, and their conservative critic Donie O’Sullivan attended the meeting. He posted a video to show the absurdity of this incident, which is something that all of us who did not attend know.

Please note that when he laughed at Lindel for not being able to support his claim, O’Sullivan fabricated his conspiracy on the spot. “This is a spectacle-it is easy to laugh at it in some ways, but it is a very serious matter. This guy does have a big platform. ” Really, Duny? Where do you prove this to support your claim that Mike Lindell owns this big platform? On the surface, the biggest channel for him to hear his information is…on your network.
along with Diligent reporting is the daily beast, Justin Baragona (Justin Baragona) is reporting things, and he surprisingly (but not surprisingly) did it right, but also failed to do it. He detailed the biggest gain of the seminar-Lindel has no evidence. He lost his temper on Fox News most of the time because he did not report on his activities.
A powerful network completely ignored it: Fox News.
Ha, don’t tell me, Justin. This is what it looks like when the reporter accurately pointed out and eventually missed it at the same time. The most annoying news media, the so-called news media that sells the narratives of “The Big Lie,” why didn’t they report the big event of the so-called “Big Lie”?
In a statement to CNN on Tuesday night, a Fox News spokesperson confirmed that the network did not send any reporters to cover Lindel’s incident.
Much has happened in recent weeks about Lindel’s removal of his ads from Fox News, but this is not the cause of the indifference on the Internet. Fox has long ignored Lindel, and it was the lack of support that angered the sleep entrepreneur and caused him to take down the ad.
Fox’s coverage of the MyPillow tycoon’s various antics has hardly existed in recent months, despite his repeated attempts to publish news that is friendly to MAGA (including a rally featuring Trump himself this summer). According to the media monitoring service TVEyes, in the past six months, Fox News has only mentioned Lindel five times – and only by the way. Fox’s digital website also ignores the Pillow Boss and has published zero articles about him in recent months.
Do you people in the press see how this is done? In fact, it may not report every silly remark and every wing nut conspiracy theory. But they cannot do this; the intention here is clear. The press desperately discredited conservatives as conspiracy lunatics, claiming that Republicans are catching every word of an unknown Internet geek and a deranged pillow tycoon. For this reason, the media must elaborate on every lunatic theory that appears, so that it appears as if these are the main discourses of rights.
However, the unexpected result was that in doing so, they became the main source of these so-called dangerous theories. The interesting thing is-if I want to learn how to best undermine democracy, I need to watch CNN and read national newspapers.
