Afghanistan: Kabul bus explosion killed at least 1 person and injured 5 people-Nationwide


On Saturday, a bomb exploded on a small bus on a busy commercial street in a major residential area of ​​Kabul. AfghanistanEmergency rescuers and bus drivers in the minority Hazara community said. At least one person was killed and five others were injured.

The staff of the ambulance team at the scene told the Associated Press that the explosion appeared to be caused by a bomb on the bus.

In an interview with the Associated Press at the hospital, the bus driver said that on his route, a suspicious man got on the bus. A few minutes later, an explosion occurred in the back of the bus.

The driver named Murtaza said that he saw two passengers caught fire, their clothes fell from the back of the car, while the other passengers escaped from the front of the car.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban in Afghanistan, told the Associated Press that the minibus caught fire and caused an explosion, killing one person and injuring another.
