Claude said that when she first met Hank in early May, he was abandoned in an industrial area in Houston, Texas. She recalled that he was malnourished, neglected, and full of fleas, so she took him home and cleaned, sterilized and prepared him for adoption in the next few months.

“The spiciness of this language is built for the kind of personality that people need in order to deal with this big fool,” Claude said on her website.

“If they are easily offended by the text on the website, then I don’t think it would be a good match because they definitely need to be cheeky to deal with this dog,” she added.

She described Hank as “flexible” and required “continuous attention” that she could not provide for a long time, so she was determined to find someone who could keep up with Hank.
