As early as May 2019, as A series of investigations on some problematic contributions/expenses made by the California Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu’s campaign, I noticed that Lieu made a pair of $25,000 “charitable donations” to his alma mater Stanford University in 2017 and 2018, and wanted to know his two teenage sons-one of them is finishing high school sophomore Grade-whether or not you will eventually be admitted to an elite school is also part of the “college blues” scandal. Well, guess what? According to his Instagram profile, Lieu’s oldest Brennan is now a member of the 2025 class of Stanford University.
As we all know, the young Lieu is a smart and talented young man. Over the years, he has been actively participating in the school’s award-winning robotics project, which may have been a factor in his admission. Moreover, the fact that his father is an alum is probably a factor in his son’s admission. Some people think that in terms of Stanford University’s donations, $50,000 is not a big deal, but these donations were the biggest expenditure of the Lieu campaign committee during that cycle, and it was the salary of a congressman-expensive as two living in California The father of a teenager in the area, Lieu, certainly cannot give up his $50,000. Moreover, FEC rules prohibit campaign committees from making contributions that benefit individual candidates, which makes these contributions questionable.
These are not the only “charitable” donations made by Lieu’s campaign committee to benefit his son’s education.exist The first part of the series I report that during the 2018 and 2020 election cycles, Lieu donated a total of $12,160 to the Torrance Education Foundation, which sponsored his son’s TorBots club, and he apparently gained personal benefit from it.
Moreover, his campaign committee bought tickets for the first lady luncheon of the Congress Club in 2019, and then he donated these tickets to the Torrance Education Foundation for a silent auction fundraiser-and claimed that the donation came from “Congress Congressman Ted Lieu” and his wife “Betty Lieu, member of the school board.”
Coincidentally, Lieu and his wife were appointed as honorary co-chairs of the event that auctioned these tickets.

Is positive publicity a “personal benefit” of the contribution, thus making it illegal? And, do Lieu’s donors know that they are guaranteeing Lieu’s charity and that their money is being used to promote his fragile ego?
We need answers.
