review – The AstroAI Cordless Tire Inflator is almost pain relief. The cordless freedom when smoking car and bike tires is something I’ll never be without, and now I’ve experienced it. I’ve had one in my car since the advent of portable electric tire pumps. Mine is cheap but durable, powered by the car’s cigarette lighter/accessory plug. I also have a home appliance that runs on 120 volts AC. But one requires the car to run, and running a plug-in pump through the car and out the door to get close to each tire is a chore, and the other requires a long extension cord from inside the house to the driveway and a pump in the shed , and — I’m tired of pumping up the tires.

installation and setup

After opening the suitcase, I removed the battery and its AC charger, plugged the power cord into AC power, then plugged in the battery, and started charging. The battery has a red pressure button labeled “ON” flush with the surface next to the charging progress LED. These green LEDs only illuminate briefly when the ON button is pressed, and the ON button must be pressed firmly to illuminate the charge progress LED. This is a great feature because it checks the battery level when the battery is far away from the charging cable. The battery is about 70% charged, so it won’t take too long to charge. A full charge takes about 30 minutes.
The AC charging “wall wart” has an LED that glows red when the battery is charging and turns green when the battery is full.
Once the battery was fully charged, I removed the battery from the charger, inserted the battery into the AstroAI’s base, and stored the charging cable in the carrying case. to the driveway!

test and observe

The AstroAI pump put 5 lbs of pressure on my tires in 45 seconds. That’s 3 times faster than my cheap car tire pump. Using AstroAI, I was able to fill up 8 tires in about 10 minutes.

It’s time for me to check my spare tire pressure, and now I’m blushing. They’re all under single-digit pressure and should be at 60 PSI. The spare sidewalls felt tight when I pressed them. Learn the lesson and trust the meter.
Raising tire pressure from 9 PSI to 60 PSI took 3-4 minutes, but my other cheap pump took 10-12 minutes.
When I connect the AstroAI nozzle to the tire and power it, the current tire pressure is displayed on the LCD screen. The AstroAI gauge reading is a pound off my manual dial tire gauge. Which is right? That’s close enough, and I’m relieved that they agreed.

what do I like
- Cordless tire pumping!
- AstroAI draws fast.
- AstroAI suitcase takes up minimal luggage space
- Great PSI range. AstroAI should handle everything from pool floats to car tires to high-pressure road bike tires.

what would i change
- one little thing. If you hold the nozzle clip’s hinge pin directly during the process of attaching it to the tire valve, it will be sharp.

final thoughts
The AstroAI Cordless Tire Inflator can quickly do tasks I’ve never enjoyed. Thanks to the Astro AI inflator, this task has been made so much easier that I would pay more attention to our tire pressures.
