Spencer Eldon was upset about Nirvana.
This man sued the rock band—if my calculations are correct—for more than one million dollars.
In September 1991, David Geffen’s DGC Records released the band’s breakthrough, 30 million sales It’s ok, These include popular songs “Come as You Are”, “Lithium”, “In Bloom”, and “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, which has made a splash in the music industry.
This is the band’s second album, and its lead single ends the reign of messy hair, men’s mascara, and heavy metal—someone might say, vulgar- Spandex pants (for the macho of the day, please see this Adult only illustrations From This is a spinal tap).
Rock reminder before Nirvana:
Turning now to the litigation incident, in a nutshell, stem.
The cover is It’s ok A baby is swimming in a swimming pool and is seduced by a dollar bill on a hook.
according to type, The image is “usually understood as a statement of capitalism.”
However, Nurse is naked.
Therefore, the grown-up Spencer insists that the painting is lewd:
[He]… Filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, alleging that the nude photos constitute child pornography.

Spencer’s lawyer, Robert Y. Lewis, Claim It is regarded as pornographic content because the child is chasing a dollar-“like a sex worker”.
From the record:
The defendant deliberately commercialized Spencer’s child pornography and used the shocking nature of his image to promote himself and their music at the expense of him. The defendant used child pornography to describe Spencer as a basic element of a record promotion program commonly used in the music industry to attract attention, in which the album cover presented a child image in a sexually provocative way to win notoriety, promote sales, and gain media attention and critical comments .
Every type, The bitter boy asked “each defendant to pay at least $150,000, including the surviving band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic; Courtney Love, Kurt Cobain’s estate executor; and Guy Oseary, the manager of Cobain Manor. With Heather Parry; photographer Kirk Wedel; art director Robert Fisher; and some of the existing or closed record companies that have released or released this album in the past 30 years.”
CBS Los Angeles The report stated that there were 17 defendants in total.
However, as the obscene litigation in the criminal procedure system was pending, strange things appeared: It’s ok 10th, 17th, 20th and 25th On the anniversary, Spencer recreated this photo.

Despite this, the child has never been compensated. Allegedly, his parents were paid $200.
More from the suit:
Neither Spencer nor his legal guardian have signed and authorized the use of any images of Spencer or his likeness, and certainly not commercial child pornography depicting him.
In 2008, Spencer’s father told NPR How did this happen:
“[Photographer Kirk] Call us and say,’Hey, Rick, want to make $200, and then throw your kid in a drink? I thought,’What’s wrong? He was like,’Well, I’m shooting the kids this week, why don’t you meet me at the Rose Bowl (aquatic center) and let your kids have a drink? We just had a big party at the swimming pool and no one knows what happened! “
The lawsuit stated that Kirk “taken a series of erotic nude photos of Spencer” to “ensure that the album cover will elicit a sexual response from the audience.”
and:
[The photographer] Activate Spencer’s “vomiting reflex” and then throw him underwater, in a pose that highlights and emphasizes Spencer’s exposed genitals.
Speaking of nudity, Spencer was frustrated that he never reached the band.
On the 25th anniversary, he and time:
“I’m a little upset. I tried to reach these people. I have never met anyone. I didn’t receive a phone call or email. I just woke up and have become part of this huge project. It’s difficult—what do you think You didn’t accomplish anything by yourself, but you didn’t do anything except their albums.”
He remembered the trick of making his private parts public– In a ball game:
“When you hear how much money is involved, it’s hard not to get angry… [When] I went to a baseball game and thought about it:’Man, everyone in this baseball game may have seen my tiny penis,’ I feel that some of my human rights have been taken away. “
Despite this, Spencer is still floating—perhaps because of his It’s ok Chest tattoo.
Will he finally say the exact word before the lawsuit passes the court?
Either way-back to Spinal Tap-as for babies and bans, I would like to say that they will most likely not cooperate again:
