information – Have you ever wondered what would happen if a company put everything you want in it? 3D printer and make it very affordable? Well, Bambu Lab has developed a new 3D printer that brings functionality to consumers that was previously only available on very expensive industrial printers.

The Bambu Lab Z1 series will be released via Kickstarter in May 2022. I don’t usually like Kickstarter projects, but these printers are already in production and the feature list is exciting.

The three models range in price from $699 to $999 and look great. The following is a list of X1 series features:

  • Enclosed case with activated carbon air filtration
  • CoreXY motion system at 500mm/s
  • 300°C all metal hot end and hardened nozzle
  • 120°C heated bed, 60°C chamber
  • Large build volume of 256x256x256mm
  • Dual-core 32-bit MCU
  • Quad-core SoC
  • Dual automatic bed leveling with force sensor and lidar
  • Lidar for first layer detection and extrusion calibration
  • Real-time monitoring of 43 sensors
  • 720p LCD touch screen
  • Active Vibration Compensation
  • Optional automatic material system for up to 4 colors.Link up to 4 AMSs together in 16 colors
  • RFID technology to identify filament information
  • Print with PLA, PET, ABS, PC, HIPS, ASA, carbon fiber reinforced PA, and more
  • Cloud Services and Remote Printing
  • Chamber surveillance camera
  • WiFi connection
  • Easily remove supports

Bambu Micro Lidar brings micron-level precision to 3D printing. The lidar system detects nozzle height, calibrates flow and scans the first layer. The simulated force sensor cross-checks bed leveling for redundancy.

The AI system can detect the condition of the spaghetti (when the print fails). The system can also send alerts to your phone, and you can access video feeds from anywhere.

The printer comes pre-assembled and ready to print right out of the box. It’s also fast, printing a standard bench in about 16.5 minutes!
