Best Summer Romantic Comedy Reads

Summer is the perfect time to lie down, relax and read a book. Warm weather, sunshine, the beach or a lake all create ideal reading conditions. There’s nothing like reading a rom-com in the summer that transports you to another world. The combination of romance and laugh-out-loud comedy makes for an entertaining and easy-to-read storyline.

I’ve found that rom-coms have a sweet spot. You don’t want something too cheesy or too predictable, you still need quality writing, characters and plot to keep things interesting and entertaining. Romantic comedies are supposed to be lighthearted, but there’s nothing more disappointing and boring than a poorly written romantic comedy.

If you’re looking for a summer reading list or looking for your next great book, today’s post is for you. Here are some great rom-com titles that will be the perfect addition to your summer reading list. For more book recommendations, check out our current reading list and this review beach reading.
