As we reported earlier, Joe Biden used a teleprompter to deliver a pre-made speech on COVID today, then turned and left without answering any questions from the media.
The crazy nature of Biden’s speech is because he talks endlessly about COVID, ignoring that the huge elephant in the room-thousands of Americans and allies trapped in Afghanistan-is something.
But this is not all. Although he did not answer questions from regular White House reporters, he apparently accepted an interview with former Democratic agent George Stephanopoulos today. But if it should be a “safe” interview and let him pass smoothly, then it will fail miserably.
The ABC released a clip that showed a combative and confused Biden.
George asked an obvious question (paraphrasing): What went wrong with what you did in Afghanistan?

But Biden is Biden, and he will collapse when challenged. He refused to say what he did wrong. He was angry again because we didn’t understand that there is always “chaos” in this situation.
“When you look at what happened last week,” Stephanopoulos said, “Is this a failure of intelligence, planning, execution, or judgment?” Biden was only angry at that slight challenge and again incoherent.
“Look, I don’t think it’s fair — see, it’s a simple choice, George. When they-when the Taliban-let me back up and change the way. When you let the Afghan government, the leader of that government, get on the plane and take off And go to another country, when you see the Afghan army we trained — as many as 300,000 people — just left their equipment and took off, that’s what you know, I am not — that’s what happened. That’s it. What’s going on.”
Um? How does this explain your basic failure in getting the Americans and allies to withdraw, people have been begging and you know you need to do this for months? In addition, the figure of 300,000 he kept throwing out was another lie.Even CNN said in the fact check that this is Probably only about half.
“But we have all seen the photos,” Stephanopoulos said. “We have seen hundreds of people crowded in C-17. We have seen Afghans fall…”
Biden interrupted him, his face pale. “That was four days ago, five days ago!”
Yes, Joe, this is still important, you can’t slide past it. But this is his attempt at Obama: Ignore the scandal for a few days, and then say this is “old news, move on.” It will not end well.
Stephanopoulos asked: “When you first saw these photos, what did you think?”
“My thinking is that we have to control this and we have to act faster,” Biden explained. “We must take a way to control that airport. We did it.”
No, you don’t even have real control, because people can’t even guarantee safe access to the airport. You let everyone, Americans and allies, hang out in the wind and get their own devices there.
Stephanopoulos then asked, “So you don’t know what this could have been handled-could this exit be handled better in any way, without errors?”
“No,” Biden said angrily. “I–I don’t think it will be handled in this way–we will look back afterwards, but there is a way to leave the idea without confusion. I don’t know how this happened. I I don’t know how that happened.”
Stephanopoulos went on to say: “So, for you, this is always counted in the decision?”
Biden replied: “Yes.”
That’s the problem. You don’t know how it happened, Joe, because it is completely beyond your imagination. You don’t care, you don’t have a plan, you think no one will care, because you throw everyone and everything under the bus in the process.
In the end, he wouldn’t even promise to stay until they drove all Americans out, until Stephanopoulos kept persecuting him. He finally did it. But this is also a battle.
