Joe Biden spoke today about the recently downgraded hurricane, Tropical Storm Henri, which is sweeping the east coast of the United States. He also talked about Afghanistan.
Now, maybe he thinks that talking about the storm will distract attention from Afghanistan. However, not so much.
Even his comments on the storm are a bit messy. He repeated the same words twice-Hurricane Henri has now been downgraded to a tropical storm-as if he didn’t know he said it for the first time.
Then, when people are primarily concerned about their personal safety, Biden is incredibly talking about ensuring people keep social distance and telling them that they should be vaccinated during this period. Is he kidding? This is a major storm event; at this point, this is really not something that should be on your list.
He doesn’t seem to remember the name of the person in charge of FEMA, and he is said to have been in contact with him.

Zeller then turned his attention to one thing that was missing in this work.
Zeller said the movement to evacuate interpreters “is an effort by the entire United States…minus one person, the only one who can order the real rescue of these people,” referring to President Biden.
“I was shocked that the Secretary of Defense said he did not have the ability to ensure that Americans travel safely to Kabul Airport,” Zeller told Fox News. “He definitely has.”
“He has the American army,” he continued. “The command he didn’t have was to move those people.”
