Review – Fast! Say something you really should do often but you don’t want to do it! For me, the answer to this question is “floss your teeth.” I know it is healthy, but I just don’t like it, and my dental hygienist will always have to remind me to floss every day. I hope Binicare’s water flosser will make this task easier.

Design and features
The design of Binicare’s Water Flosser is a typical feature of this type of gadget. The base is a reservoir; the middle part is the motor and control device; the top is the nozzle that sprays water. It’s a bit awkward to hold a dental flosser because the whole thing is quite large, especially when compared to a toothbrush. Binicare tapered the middle part and added some bumps on the back to make it easier to maintain stability.
Installation and setup
After taking everything out of the box, the first thing I did was to browse the manual. The font is dazzlingly small, but it is well written and easy to understand. The second thing I did was charge the dental floss.I plug one end of the included charging cable into the charging port of the dental flosser, and plug the (outdated) USB-A end into the back of my trustworthy Nucleus wake. Binicare does not include charging cubes. The blue battery LED started blinking to let me know that it was charging. After charging, the LED turned steady blue. The manual estimates that it will take 3-5 hours to charge, and my charging time is within this range.
After charging, I press the button to remove the water tank so I can wash it. Although I am happy that Binicare has a cleanable hole on the top, it is really small. I can’t get a towel inside. The water tank cannot be cleaned in a dishwasher, so the best thing I can do is to put some soap in and rinse with hot water.
When I touched the edge of this hole, my finger dropped blue dye, which is really worrying. If I can’t clean it completely, I don’t know what kind of harmful chemicals I might spray into my mouth while flossing. Binicare needed to better clean the reservoir before shipping. In addition, I would like to see them redesign them so that the entire bottom part falls off so that I can clean them properly, and they need to make them dishwasher-safe. These will make me believe that they can be cleaned properly.
There are two different ways to add water. One, there is a small hole in the front, if the water tank is already connected, I will use it. Second, the larger hole at the top is what I used, and then it is not connected. Because I always dry the water tank, I always use the second method to add water.
Adding a tip is very simple. All I have to do is to select and press it firmly into the hole on the top of the flosser until it clicks.
To remove the tip, all I have to do is press the blue button. After inserting the tip, it can be rotated in any direction. This is convenient because I tend to change direction depending on whether I clean the front or back of my teeth.
Performance
Dental floss is easy to use. First, I choose a charging mode. Secondly, I put it in the mouth close to the teeth. Third, I press the power button. Water starts to spray from the tip! Although it is easy to use, I find it difficult to avoid making a mess. When my mouth is slowly filled with water, I am trying to concentrate on cleaning. When I am about to vomit, I must remember to turn off the dental floss before taking it out of my mouth, otherwise I will spray water into the bathroom. And I have done it! It only takes a little practice.
Binicare’s dental flosser has five different “speeds”, that is, the pressure level of the water. The manual recommends starting with the lowest setting and then gradually increasing it. I should follow this; instead, I start at a medium level, which is painful. The lowest level is the only one I use, and I think the other levels are too stressful.
This is my first time using a water flosser and I am very satisfied with its effect. I usually use it before brushing my teeth at night, and it always manages to remove some food. I spray my front teeth most often, but when I have just finished eating, I also spray my back teeth. In fact, this is the brightest time for this gadget: it’s almost time to go to bed, and I want some snacks. I’m full, but it’s time to brush my teeth now, there is food everywhere. The flosser can clean my mouth well so that I can brush my teeth.
Although I like this dental floss, I think it would be nice to have professional opinions, so I called my dentist’s office to see what they think. Their official position is both good news and bad news. The good news is that they approve of using dental flossers and encourage me to use it. The bad news is that water floss is not a substitute for brushing (at least twice a day) or flossing (at least once a day). The water flosser is not an improvement of traditional dental floss, nor is it a substitute for it; it is a supplement. Although a water flosser is better than nothing, I need to continue to use the old-fashioned dental floss.

One of my concerns about water flossers is the reservoir.Specifically, I am worried that scum will accumulate there over time, similar to my problem Guru Nanda Halo XL humidifier and diffuserTherefore, I really appreciate that the reservoir is detachable. After using the flosser, I always remove it, shake the remaining water well, and then air dry. In the four weeks I tested it, there were no problems with accumulation or scum.
The manual says that it should last about 25 to 30 days on a single charge in normal use, I think it’s almost the same. I rarely need to recharge.
Binicare’s Amazon page boldly asserts that their flosser has an IPX7 rating, which means that it will work even if it is fully immersed in water. I tested this and found that it works very well. If you put this flosser in a sink filled with water, there will be no problem.

Final thoughts
Binicare’s water flosser is a convenient gadget for cleaning teeth and gums. It is a good supplement to flossing and toothbrushes. It is battery-powered, has five prompts, and is charged via USB-A. Although it is 12 inches tall, it is not a small tool. Once you master it, it is still easy to use. I found that it can remove excess food between my teeth very well, and the detachable reservoir is easy to fill up, and even easier to empty and air dry. My only concern is that when I touched the edge of the larger hole in the reservoir, the unknown blue chemical stained my fingers. If Binicare can properly clean it before shipping and can make the water tank dishwasher safe, Binicare can make this good gadget even better. Nevertheless, I am very happy to put this dental scaler next to the sink in my bathroom, where I use it several nights a week.
