Boris Johnson says MPs who violate the rules “should be punished”-the political facts of the United Kingdom | Politics

In the second job, I want to say that members of Congress have been working in Parliament for hundreds of years, and have also worked as doctors, lawyers, soldiers, firefighters, or writers, or engaged in various other industries and occupations.

In general, the British people have understood that this actually strengthens our democracy, because people basically think that MPs really need to understand the world.

However, if the system is to continue today, it is vital that members of Congress follow the rules.

The rules say two important things: you must put your work as a member of Parliament first, and you must first dedicate yourself to your voters and those who send you to Westminster Parliament.

They also said that you should not use your position as a parliamentarian to lobby or otherwise intervene on behalf of any external commercial interests. Not only do you have to register these interests-you can’t lobby or represent them during the MPs representing these interests.

These are rules and must be enforced, and those who do not follow the rules should of course be sanctioned.
