Boston University offers “21 days to forget about racism” and “learning against racism”-RedState

Boston University has started a new program to correct internal racist mistakes.

According to reports Campus reformOn July 6, the school started the “21 Days of Forgetting and Learning” activity.

To be clear, this is not just about not being racist.

Some people say that “anti-racism” is different from color blindness, and the name of the BU initiative promotes this.

Title: “21 days to forget about racism and learn to fight against racism. “

To quote a popular Christian proverb, it is clear that those who can get rid of racism have left an anti-racism hole in their hearts.

BU has three weeks to fill it.

If you need to know what “anti-racism” is, I will put you in Very capable hand of CNN:

Some white people know that to become anti-racists, they must begin to listen to and review the history of racism in their country.

Some people describe the overtly racist behavior as the tip of the iceberg-calling people racists or threatening others on the grounds of race.

Then there is a part of the iceberg. If they don’t see it, it’s not easy to be seen by people. This includes a series of subtle but insidious attitudes, behaviors and policies.

Including minor aggression. They are short and common verbal, behavioral or environmental insults, [psychologist Beverly Tatum] Say.

Examples of such micro-attacks:

  • “Don’t blame me. I have never owned a slave.”
  • “All lives are important.”
  • “I don’t care if you are white, black, yellow, green or purple.”

There is no denying that ideology is booming-people are being educated from elementary school to armed forces.

Back to Boston University, according to Official release page, The three-week study and forgetting aims to “better prepare our community members for a more diverse and fair academic environment.”

Call it a career transfer-it is sponsored by the Department of Professional Development and Postdoctoral Affairs (PDPA).

The program provides “the opportunity to directly participate in anti-racism texts and multimedia every day for 21 days.”

In addition, the curriculum has been upgraded-the department will now target more non-white groups of racist education students:

PDPA updated last year’s curriculum to go beyond anti-black racism and include resources related to racism in other communities of color.

Obviously, a college podcast provides white supremacy intellectual nutrition; so this is a bonus:

This year’s 21 days will pay special attention to the issue of racism in higher education, inspired by the theme of our podcast season 4. Dr. Vitamin. We will also provide a virtual community space for dialogue throughout the plan.

So you go.

For fear ofInternational Insurance Regulatory Commission Paranoid, Doucheng’s educators are participating.

In their efforts, maybe they will fight against micro-aggression as they have done recently Designed by Imperial College London, UK.

According to the academy, micro-attacks include “deaths of thousands of swords and swords.”

example:

The myth of elite rule

A statement that asserts that race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc. have no effect on life success

Micro-attack example

“I believe that the most qualified person deserves this job. We need excellence!”
“Men and women have equal opportunities for achievement.”
“Gender has no effect on the people we hire.”
“If they work hard enough, everyone can succeed in this society.”
“Positive action is racism.”

The playing field is equal, so if women/BAME/handicapped/LGBTQ+ people cannot do it, the problem lies with them.
Black people receive extra unfair treatment because of their race.

It is hoped that with the support of professional development and post-doctoral affairs departments and get rid of the notion of meritocracy, graduates will succeed in professional and development. In all their attempts.
