Few things related to US infrastructure have anything to do with DC.
Federal “infrastructure”?State and local government and nepotism relief and bribery funds:
“(A) Only 5% of U.S. infrastructure-roads, bridges, tunnels, etc.-actually belong to the federal government:
“‘The private sector owns 65% of the shares, including power stations, freight railroads, pipelines, factories, broadband networks, etc.. State and local governments own 30% of the shares, including highways, schools, and airports. The federal government only owns 5 % Of shares, including dams, postal facilities and other assets.”…
“This means that trillions (DC) are going to spend? It is for bailout and bribery funds-for state and local governments and cronies of the private sector.”
What about the 1.2 trillion dollar bill? It is not even a bill…
Republicans who opposed the large-scale infrastructure bill asked: Where is the full text?:
“‘I voted against #infrastructure a week ago because there is no legislative text,” Republican Senator Tim Scott from South Carolina wrote Wednesday night. ‘My thoughts have not changed. There is still no legislative text or explanation on how to pay for the 1T USD infrastructure plan. “
So why does this happen?
The 17 Republicans who voted to advance the Senate infrastructure bill
What votes did they vote for? An allegedly pleasant concept-proposed by the Democratic Party? How naive and irresponsible can you be?
When they knew it was waiting at the other end of the street, the “yeah” Republicans looked even more stupid.
“The Democrats also hope to pass a $3.5 trillion proposal through the budget settlement rule, which allows the Senate to pass certain bills with a simple majority.
“‘I hope it will pass. Pelosi said when talking about the bipartisan bill, unless we have the rest of the initiative, I will not put it on the floor.”
“Yeah” Republicans proposed a stupid $1.2 trillion bill-they know this means they are probably also pushing a stupid $3.5 trillion bill. When we have Nearly 30 trillion U.S. dollars in debt. and Soaring inflation. All this is very embarrassing.
What exactly did the Democrats promise to the Republicans in the unwritten $1.2 trillion void? Many non-infrastructure voids.
Provide multi-billion dollar infrastructure agreements for green energy and racial justice projects:
“Most of the outstanding expenditures are aimed at correcting discriminatory policies in the past. A portion of the 110 billion US dollars spent on rebuilding roads and bridges is dedicated to repairing so-called racist projects that “divide” black communities…
“According to the document, thousands of public school buses will be replaced by’zero-emission vehicles’ as part of an effort to’modern’ transportation in the country at a cost of US$7.5 billion. The document states that these new buses “will benefit communities of color.” , Because these families are twice as likely to take public transportation as others.”
“The document touted the’largest investment in clean energy in history’, including the construction of a new’clean 21st century grid’ and a multi-billion-dollar’clean energy technology supply chain’.” The Ministry of Energy will also be responsible for creating a A “Digital Climate Solutions Report, Including the Potential of Using Artificial Intelligence as a Climate Solution”.
Understand? US$110 billion is earmarked for actual infrastructure—roads and bridges. Less than 10% of the bill. And most of it was transferred to various non-infrastructure nonsense.
And, of course, “clean, green energy” is neither clean, green, nor energy.
Why green energy means no energy
Research confirms (Donald) Trump is right-“clean” energy is neither clean nor green
Speaking of Trump– What he’s talking about here is a $1.2 trillion fake infrastructure bill:
Trump said: “‘This will be a victory for the Biden administration and the Democrats, and it will be used extensively in the 2022 general election.” Looks weak, stupid, and stupid.”
Trump couldn’t be more correct. again.
One of the huge bills is tens of billions of dollars for Internet broadband.
It doesn’t matter, the US private sector has established the best and most resilient Internet network on the planet.
China’s virus blockade proves that the U.S. Internet is better, stronger, and faster than Europe
Virus blockade: speed up-price drop. The government should stay away from the internet
The government should ignore the Internet. So of course not.
The $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill includes $65 billion in broadband costs:
“A fact sheet issued by the White House stated that the package plan will ensure that’every American will be able to obtain reliable high-speed internet through historic investments in broadband infrastructure deployment.’…
“Biden’s first proposal says it will support communities, cooperatives and municipal broadband networks…”
Except that we have tried “community, cooperation and municipal broadband networks”. Has tens of billions of dollars-more than two decades.
Guess carefully what’s going on, “Yeah” Republican?
Broadband Boondoggles-Failed Taxpayer Funding Network:
“For decades, local governments have promised to provide faster and cheaper broadband networks. Unfortunately, these municipal networks usually fail to deliver or fail, leaving taxpayers to pay for it…
“Government-owned (that is, taxpayer-funded) network projects unnecessarily reduce the resources available to meet more urgent needs, such as improving education, infrastructure, and public safety.
“These networks are also unfairly competing with private companies.
“The worst thing is, it turns out that these programs put taxpayers’ money at risk, let hard-working voters pay the bill, and the costs are usually high.”
Oh: And the “yeah” Republicans? Why don’t you—before voting “Yay” on this nonsense—understand this?
The government lied about what broadband is and what we need:
“The strange thing is that the government only treats wired connections as Internet connections. They do this to artificially and massively exaggerate the number of “unconnected people” they can point to-thereby falsely justifying their further participation.
“Does no bureaucracy own a mobile phone? Currently, hundreds of millions of Americans can connect to the Internet through their wireless devices. With such excellent connection quality and speed-they can seamlessly stream high-definition video… .. on their wireless device.
“What the EU could not do on its wired network during the blockade-we have been doing it on our wireless devices.
“This is on our 4G wireless network. The private sector will soon deliver 5G on a large scale. This will provide us with speeds of 1 Gb per second. This is several times faster than what we currently need to do online. Orders of magnitude.
“How disconnected is the government from reality in terms of our Internet connection – and what do we need and do online?
“Please note: 1 GB (Gb) = 1,000 MB (Mb).
“Watching standard-definition video? Requires 3 Mb of downstream traffic per second. HD video? 4 Mb/sec. HD on a 1080p monitor? 5 Mb/s.
“The Donald Trump administration wisely defined the downstream’high-speed broadband’ as 25Mb/s. This is PLENTY-for everything we do online.
“The government now strangely hopes to quadruple the speed to 100 Mb/s. This is ridiculously high and steeper than anyone needs anywhere.
“The government hopes to do this in order to artificially exaggerate the number of’unconnected people’ in large numbers-thus falsely justifying its further participation.”
So, all in all…
“Yeah” Republicans:
Why don’t you know all this ready-made information? Why don’t you know all this ready-made information? Due diligence, and all this?
embarrassment.
Or do you know part or all-and vote “Yay” anyway?
That’s even more embarrassing.
