This book has been out of print for more than 10 years and tells the lives and work of a dozen Korean artists who died when they were young.
Fans of the boy band, namely ARMY, besieged the book’s publisher Hyohyung Books to try to obtain a copy, and within a few days announced its republishing.
“Now’death early’ has gained a new life and will be reprinted for the first time in 18 years,” the publisher said on its Instagram account, adding: “RM and ARMY, thank you.”
According to Kyobo Book Centre, South Korea’s largest bookstore chain, sales have soared and it became an art bestseller last week.
As we all know, RM is an avid reader and recommended books to his fans before.
Earlier this year, a conceptual artist’s book “The Other Side of Things” sold out nationwide the day after RM shared two photos online.
