Under Joe Biden’s leadership, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has become a trembling, incoherent chaos—to some extent, it’s not always that way. But the politics injected into the bureaucracy must have reached unprecedented levels. RedState records many CDCs twists and turns (and Sometimes downright corruption), but this person might eat cake.
Yesterday, the CDC reported Florida COVID data as part of the normal cycle after the weekend, claiming that the Sunshine State had more than 28,000 new cases on Sunday. This will set a record high and help promote another round of anti-Florida media coverage.

What is done here is to merge the two days into a large number for one Sunday, which is not actually the number for Sunday. The following are the actual figures, showing a decrease in the three days discussed.

This leaves a lot of questions to ask. Is this an honest mistake? I think this is possible, but it is hard to ignore that the White House and the CDC are currently fighting with Governor Ron DeSantis over the mask requirement. Joe Biden himself has been hunting down DeSantis, claiming that although the governor’s approach is to protect the rights of parents, he “impeded” the development of COVID-19. In other words, this is the opposite of blocking anything.
In addition, if this is a mistake, why is the CDC not eager to correct it immediately? As far as I know, it is the next morning and there is still no content posted to correct this situation. Will they try to push the conspiracy theory of hidden data in Florida by obfuscating here? I think we will know, nothing surprises me at this point.
Of course, the usual suspects are lying, trying to blame Florida for the CDC’s mistakes.

The Florida conspiracy theory that distort COVID data was originally caused by Rebecca Jones, A scammer who claims to be a “data scientist” responsible for data entry in Florida. But her cloak has been accepted by many people, including Feigl-Ding, another person who used crazy COVID allegations to increase their visibility.
In short, the cynical I said that this data error is not an error at all, but a purpose. When the White House wanted to ban DeSantis, it happened to throw red meat at the conspiracy theorists. Such accusations may even occur as a result of the CDC’s hierarchical politicization and its continuous and partisan discontinuity.
