Currently, 11 different passenger planes have been refused by the Taliban to leave Afghanistan. These flights included more than 100 Americans hoping to escape the chaos.Red State Reported before Regarding the ongoing crisis, including the absurd Kamala Harris will campaign in California During this time.
But now, perhaps because Glenn Baker participated in eight of these flights, the news media’s mockery of the Taliban has begun. The editor-in-chief of Newsweek is probably the dumbest semantic argument I have ever seen. However, to be fair, I have seen a lot of stupid semantic arguments.
return @RepMcCaul It is absolutely incorrect to describe any of these people as hostages. No one was refused to leave the country or detained on the plane. On the contrary, the Taliban did not approve the departure of the plane. Talked with two confirmed sources.

Similarly, there is no evidence that the Taliban targeted passengers or explicitly refused them to leave. NGO officials told us that this may be due to the deadlock between the state and the Taliban.

According to the ridiculous clown, these Americans were not refused to leave the country. Instead, they were told that their plane could not leave the country. See the difference? Yes, neither do I. This is a silly, meaningless distinction being used to shoot Republican Rep. Michael McCall instead of just reporting what happened on the ground.
Naveed Jamali promotes himself as a former “double agent”, so you will think he is smart enough to recognize the hostage situation. You see, the “stalemate” between the State Department and the Taliban he cited is because of what the Taliban is asking for. Unless the Taliban get it, they will not allow the Americans to leave. Under any normal circumstances, we call it taking someone hostage. There is no requirement that Americans must remain on the plane at gunpoint to qualify for the label.
There is no evidence that the Taliban’s idea of targeting passengers is absurd. They obviously are, otherwise, they will let them go instead of linking them to negotiations with the State Department. In addition, it is foolish to rely on NGO officials to describe motives. These NGO officials are at the mercy of the Taliban. They will not say anything that might jeopardize their entry into Afghanistan. This is obviously a hostage situation. Maybe it was resolved, but just as it sat down, the Americans were being bound by the Taliban and unable to return to their homes until they obtained any concessions they were looking for.
But the media is reluctant to admit that this is a hostage incident, because it means they will beat Joe Biden again, and for many in the news industry, protecting him politically is much more important than protecting Americans. Think about how incredible it is that we have more than 100 Americans trapped in Afghanistan under this special situation, and the media has basically discredited it. But to make matters worse, they are now defending the Taliban in order to make excuses for what is happening.
Never trust these people. If this means protecting their political narrative, they will hang you, including letting you fall into the hands of terrorists.
