“Child in a cage” runs out of control under Biden’s leadership, border towns beg for help – RedState

According to new photos released today, the conditions at the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) facility in Downer, Texas are completely inhumane.

Although the government has expanded the facility and speeded up the system to deal with illegal aliens, the influx is still more than it can keep up, and the facility is trying to handle more people marching than when the news shocked Americans.

In March, 4000 people crowded into the containment pod/cage. Now, According to Fox, The facility has 5,300 illegal foreigners in custody, with 40-60 people in each pod. This is because COVID restrictions stipulate that each pod can only accommodate 10 people.

This is a new photo from Fox News.

Therefore, Joe Biden not only failed to solve this problem; he could not even comply with his COVID restrictions here.No wonder So many detainees are sick.

On Thursday, more than 800 children were arrested at the border and 612 children were released to HHS care. Overall, between May and June, UAC encounters increased by 8%, and immigrant family encounters increased by 25%.

This is part of the continued surge in immigration at the border, and there is no sign of slowing down. More than 188,000 immigrants were encountered in June, and there were reports that more than 210,000 people were encountered in July-although these numbers have not yet been released. This is a significant increase from the 78,000 people encountered in January.

For the local communities in the Rio Grande Valley, having to deal with all this is a disaster. People in McAllen, Texas have been begging for help from the federal government.

From City Hall:

The Democrat Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez revealed after being questioned by the city hall that the Biden administration not only ignored his invitation to visit the Rio Grande Valley to witness the border crisis with his own eyes, but the government completely ignored all of them. Call for further help.[….]

“I am very disappointed. Our communication with them is completely zero. I hope it will change soon because there is evidence [of] The problems it poses to our community,”

Supervising these individuals is not an obligation of the City of McAllen and/or local charities. But the federal government has cancelled its duties. Locals cannot force illegal aliens to quarantine.

But all this is fine, because they now call them “pods” instead of “cages.”
