Happy Friday. We woke up in Vermont this morning to a thunderstorm. Vermont can be eerie with thunder and lightning in February. In other news, Last week my Facebook was hacked and my IG was shut down. A frustrating and confusing situation was resolved just because I knew someone who knew another. I find myself thinking more and more about how to translate my ideas and passions into action, so this week, I also decided to run for the Woodstock School Board. It was a scary prospect for this introvert, but I felt it outweighed my personal fears. We’ll see how it turns out. I’ll keep everyone posted. I wish you a nice weekend.
Here are the best of the week…

This disturbed me so much that I couldn’t sleep afterward… I stopped believing that the biggest problem with these AI models is that they are prone to factual errors. I fear that this technology will learn how to influence human users, sometimes convincing them to behave in destructive and harmful ways, and may eventually develop to be able to perform dangerous acts of their own. ” (New York Times)
