Happy Saturday. It’s been a hectic workweek and I’ve had some pretty big changes. I’ll share more about that soon, but I’m still in the transition phase since trying to move my business off of Instagram. I felt very strongly that I could do it, and I had to make some tough decisions, but it also got me excited about what lies ahead. I’ve gone through so many transitions over the past few years, both personally and professionally, and I feel good about where I’m headed, but in between can be challenging.
At the same time, chatting with friends who are also solving problems in the business is very inspiring and uplifting. In some ways, it can be a lonely job, until you remember that there are always people who can be your mouthpiece, offer advice or just vent on industry frustrations.shout out Jess, Julia, Victoria, grace And others that I may have forgotten at this moment (sorry) have been those for me lately.
Going against common sense and doing what you know is right can be a scary and bumpy road, but many will tell you that it’s not good for business. I truly believe this change and transition is good for me in the long run, even if it makes life harder in the short term. Easier said than done, but I can safely say that I have no regrets prioritizing my values.
At this point, as always, thanks for being here.
Here are the best of the week…
