I don’t know you, but when mercury starts to soar to the century mark, I just want to rest under a shady tree or under a beach/pool umbrella, and gulp on creamy, cool food. Yes, usually ice cream will solve this problem. But for those with dietary restrictions or desires, there are a variety of other options (Love some delicious coconut Or almond milk “frozen dessert”).
No matter how you choose to cool down this summer, today — it turns out — is a grand celebration for all Americans and (maybe) everyone around the world. This is National Ice Cream Day!
